It's difficult to find the lobby because it's a big complex with three buildings. I also had to wait a short time for the private receptionist to come to the lobby to meet with me for the rental -- you can't do the intake with the regular condo staff. It is a private rental. You go into a side office; after that, it's really simple.

The property is a 2-BR unit in a nice condo complex. There are multiple amenities within the complex, including a gym, coffee shop, laundry facility and parking. The unit has a full kitchen that is reasonably supplied for cooking and use. The WiFi is also good. The view from the high-floor unit is exceptional.

Arrived at the property a little after 3 PM for check in. Waited for about 15 minutes or so for a response for someone to meet us downstairs. I put my credit card information into booking.com but was told that the card was declined. The card was in working order, but unable to be processed through booking.com is what the host had told me. She then proceeded to charge me $440 plus an additional $100 security deposit and then I had to pay another $50 to the front desk for a plastic wristband. The total amount due on booking.com was $423 and I ended up paying close to 600 when arriving at the property. I feel like that is very misleading. We arrived in room 1723 with a broken and opened balcony door. I specifically asked about the balcony being open and was confirmed that it is. There was also a leaking air conditioning unit, causing a pool of water on the floor in the kitchen, the vent was rusty, and the wall was bubbled as if there was moisture leaking from the air conditioner inside of the wall. The entire living space was dirty and the sofa was absolutely disgusting. I reached out to the host and explain the entire situation, she then proceeded to have us wait almost a half an hour for somebody to come up to fix the door and the air condition. They partially fixed the door, but it still did not close all of the way leading massive amounts of heat into the unit . I explained to the owner, I have asthma, and that I needed to be in a unit with air condition. They told me there was no other units available and that I would have to pay the cleaning fee either way then decided to tell me there are other units available but they were larger and I would have to pay more money. I asked for a refund or to be moved due to health concerns, and was finally moved to apartment 720. As soon as being moved, the host of the property cease all communication and is now keeping $100 after my spouse, and I made sure to follow all of the rules, and all of the cleaning rules left.

The coffee shop and pool was nice but nothing else 🥺 from check in until check out. It was a horrible travel experience.

The manager purchase from my credit card $ 156 for security deposit before our arrival. After arrival she canceled my booking by booking.com and insisted to pay by Zelle or by cash otherwise she would not accommodate us. The room that I booked with booking.com and the provided room was totally different. She took from us $522 plus $55 for registration fee. I would like to ask booking.com to investigate my issue and exclude this kind of accommodations from booking.com website. I trust booking.com website, and I do not want to have the same experience me or any other customer. Please investigate it, they are big liar, they do not want to pay taxes and booking.com commission fee, so they lied that my credit card was invalid though they took security deposit from my card and they knew that my card was active.

Maria is great host. She was helpful all the time. The heated pool was the highlight. Safety and security were key factors too. We enjoyed tennis court and pool table. Wish we could live here :)

Sunny Isles Beach Ocean Reserve Condominiums Apt. #219 Beware of this apartment!! Terrible experience from beginning to end: The check-in process was horrible!! It said online, "total payment is due at time of booking." I put my credit card information in and was under the impression that it was completely paid for at that time. Upon arrival, the front desk had no recollection of our booking. However, the "apartment manager" Maria (Marta Day), who I apparently had been speaking with through text messages prior to arriving, was there in the business office, and we had to go speak with her. We were told by Maria that our payment had declined on booking.com, which was untrue!! This caused an inconvenience with the surprise of having to pay onsite at the property. Check-in process took 45 min. We were expecting 2 private bedrooms with doors, not a bed out in the open living room space and the other bedroom with no door and in the location of the only bathroom.....No privacy!! In the list of amenities, the description read garden view and sea view, not true!! The balcony door was bolted shut, supposedly due to painting. There is a blue plastic film covering the balcony doors, so it was difficult to see any kind of view. The non-access of the balcony was not disclosed in the description!! We booked this apartment with the assumption of having a view and being able to sit out and enjoy the fresh air and scenery. This was not mentioned until the morning of our arrival when we received a message with information regarding the apartment rules and Ocean Reserve's guidelines, this is where it was mentioned of the balcony being temporarily closed. In the list of amenities, there was also mention of an actual washer machine being in the apartment, which there was not! Asked for more wash cloths, was told by the apartment manager, Maria/Marta Day, she would bring us some....never received!
