Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

United StatesMattress was defective - very saggy and uncomfortable. Contacted the guest services manager, Maria, but she never called me back. Hotel is very happy to take your money but don’t care if you sleep well or not. They wouldn’t commit to fixing this for the next guest. They say the rooms are condos and is up to the owner to fix - good luck trying to sleep while they pass the buck around. I moved to another hotel.

Everything - location, room, staff - was all perfect. Very peaceful place that is close to all the major attractions, for example, Diamond Head, Waikiki Beaches, Zoo, Waikiki and International Markets etc.

Good size accommodation - separate bedroom, appreciated the patio area, nice bathroom separate from make-up area. Lighting was good in these places (unlike Hyatt!).

AustraliaThe location to everything we needed is great. It isn't a high end resort, however the hotel has everything we need for our stay, and it is the second time we have stayed here. It is clean, tidy and staff are always helpful whenever we need anything. Hassle free check-in, and the 24hr reception is perfect for checking out early hours of the morning. Would recommend this hotel to anyone who doesn't want the resort living, and is needing somewhere to stay while touring the islands. It has a laundry, onsite massages, vending machine for late snacking, microwave and small fridge also. Housekeeping staff regularly stop by for your needs too!

United StatesThe floor needs to be shampooed. The room is really small and the shower is a tight fit and very dated. Doors are old and clunky. Overall a very old place that needs remodeling. Parking is limited and very narrow.

Then, I requested housekeeping on a day that I was scheduled for housekeeping and the cleaner only changed the trash and left my bed unmade and bathroom unserviced. The price along with the added fees should ensure this never happens.

AustraliaOriginal room on tenth floor had good views and outlook over street. While not the fault of the hotel, the noise from the early morning garbage collection was extremely annoying. At our request we were moved to a similar room at the rear which was considerably quieter, and we were appreciative of the hotels cooperation and assistance. All other services, including provision of beach towels, and the like, were great.
