We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesFront desk staff is rude. When a customer pays for a room in advance and receives the confirmation after payment. If you take a deposit at the property regardless of advance payment there still should be a transactional receipt given to customer for the hold, stating the hold on a paper trail. To only rely on the transaction details on my card for a $100 fully refundable damage fee in addition to paying in advance, is not good business practice. I ask the receptionist what proof do you give to ppl who pay ahead, and pay deposit on site? She explained it’s not an actual charge(duh, it’s a pending charge) and it COULD drop off at any time. Working in finance, budget and banking, I am aware that in rare cases pending transaction could sometimes process all the way thru, due to system glitches and then now the customer, not the receptionist is left to deal with an “unexpected issues” and can’t prove anything because no receipt is provided from that business to the customer ..it was only stated she can write on a piece of paper, which we know is not valid to a transactional receipt. To argue that with a well established business is beyond my thoughts and seems crazy but as I asked the receptionist. If you work hard for your money, I’m sure you want proof of where it is going or being “held/pending” so to treat someone else as if they should not feel the same way, is a No GO (again she was rude, and usually is from experience with prior stays here when in town). It’s called common courtesy and understanding for the ppl who keep your business running. I have a fast operating bank. I have received my deposit back in one day. However the unprofessionalism because a business couldn’t provided sufficient proof that they removed funds from someone account even if in held/pending, seem suspicious &/or needs to be improved. Especially if patrons are willing to pay in advance to the stay. Why can’t you receive proof of the the payment made at the property?
Blind sided by the new policy of the deposit (The Evening male receptionist, was kind enough to cut the deposit in half, to $100 refundable deposit for the 2 rooms instead of $200($100 per/room).
