The room smelt a little bit like wet towels, if that makes sense. I didn't notice it after a while. But I wouldn't let that stop you from staying.

The staff were really lovely. I was really jet lagged and worried about not getting a good night sleep. The person on the front desk took the time to talk through the rooms with me and discuss which would be quietest, rather than making me feel like a pain in the butt. And that made all the difference. The pillows were amazzzzingggg too!

I would have loved (and would have been willing to pay for) a simple breakfast in the morning. That said, nearby breakfast options in town were good.

The bed size was the smallest queen I’ve slept on in decades. Noise from busy State Street and bar patrons was as expected (fair warning!)

Our Cornell grad student recommended Argos from her visits to its lively bar. The location was very convenient to her apartment and the Ithaca Commons businesses. Overnight guests have dedicated parking spaces in the Argos lot. We took frequent advantage of the excellent espresso machine. The design and decor (both interior and exterior) is charming. Loved the large, bright and airy bathroom. I’ve stayed in two upscale modern hotels in Ithaca but really enjoyed Argos!

Rooms could use a bit more storage or places to hang items. There was a private party one afternoon closing public areas including bar. We were offered bottle service and tea to our room (or upstairs seating area).

The inn was beautiful - bed was comfy- bathroom beautiful. The rebuild and interior design is gorgeous.

If I had to find anything negative, the parking lot was pretty muddy and not sealed, we didn't want to bring mud into the hotel, but in fairness, it was raining. Our only valid complaint is the pillows were so hard and uncomfortable, felt like i trying to sleep on a rock!! I gave up and used clothing and a puffy jacket for a pillow.

The hotel bar was closed due to COVID.

The hotel has some great spaces, and the rooms are really nicely decorated. The sister bar across the parking lot is fantastic with really interesting decor and great cocktails.

The road traffic was very loud. I would try to stay in the back of the Inn if possible. We were asked to check out early due to electrical maintenance. We were not compensated for that. We should have been able to check in early, or given a free drink at their bar next door. The room was quite expensive.

The room was clean and comfortable. The shower was great! The coffee and tea in the sun room was a nice touch.

We loved the homey & comforting feeling when we stayed there! The staff is amazing! The inn is absolutely gorgeous, we are definately going back there when it’s warmer so we can use fire pits and have a drink to relax at night! Well worth the money spent!

No contact checkin makes it easy and safe for those who need heightened COVID protocols. Great coffee and tea set up in the sunroom downstairs to take to your room or enjoy at the tables set up outside. Great decor and comfy bed with amply sized rooms.

We loved the rooms but faced the road in our 1st floor room which made a bit of noise in the room. Also the heat was quite loud. The heating and cooling system is still under renovation.

The location was great for Cornell parents weekend. The was a high level of attention to detail at the Inn common areas and rooms.

Room was noisy due to traffic and a skylight which sounded like a snare drum when it rained. Would have like a breakfast even if it was yogurt, fruit , and a muffin.

Beautifully restored. Great staff. Comfortable. Close to what we like.
