How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

All of the carpet and furniture in our room, though thoroughly clean, were just a bit worn. I don't say that this
From our greeting by the staff, to check out, we loved our stay at Ashley Quarters Hotel. The property grounds were extremely well maintained. Our room, including the kitchen area and the bathroom, was spotless. Great sized TV and the water pressure/showerhead were terrific. There were nice touches all around the hotel, such as plants and artwork in the stairwells, that made the stay more comfortable. All of the staff were quite attentive and genuinely friendly. The continental breakfast had a nice variety of hot and cold selections. All of the members of our party found the breakfast a fine way to start the day. The fact that Ashley Quarters is a family owned/run hotel made everything feel just a bit more homey.

The motel and room were clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly and helpful. All though the continental breakfast was small, it wasn't terrible. We chose to go out for breakfast.

Nothing. Everything top of the line.
Everything. Check in and check out was smooth and friendly. Michele was incredible and very helpful. The gentleman that checked us out was very nice and treated us like family. Pizza Wednesday was very good. Breakfast was excellent with great options. Room as well as hotel was very clean and comfortable. Area around hotel was very safe and clean, and alot of stores and restaurants. Great Hotel, Great Area, Great Staff. Would highly recommend, and my wife and I will be back for sure.

There were some age-related wear-and-tear, but nothing I would go out of my way to note. The only thing I really did have trouble with was the bar soap. It was really thin, and when I dropped it in the shower, it shattered into tiny shards.
The room was quiet and comfortable, and the kitchen clean and roomy. The room was very spacious!! The check-in procedure was SO easy, the cafe was welcoming, and the staff could not have been nicer!! I loved having access to fresh water in the cafe 24-hours-a-day. And, I really loved the popcorn as a welcome gift!!!

You have to request for your room to be cleaned and restocked with toilet paper.
It was so quaint. Every room had a kitchen. Great employees who were kind and friendly. Exceptional breakfasts!

The beds wasnt the soft but that is so terrible because it's a hotel I loved our stay
Michelle and April was the sweetest people ever Michelle went above and beyond to make sure my family was comfortable since our room wasn't quite ready when we arrived and busted her behind to make it ready and was it was supper clean I appreciate everything those tow did to go above and beyond for us since my little girl was in A wheelchair

There were a few large families using the breakfast bar at the same time and it felt a little weird since it seemed like they had taken over the space.
The Hotel was suitable for my needs. I was traveling with a new puppy and the staff accommodated my need to be close to a first floor exit. The staff was extremely helpful and courteous. The room was acceptable. It was clean and the kitchen was nice and the bathroom was large enough to crate my puppy. The carpet was a little dated, but clean. The bed was acceptable, but I always have trouble sleeping on a mattress not my own. Breakfast was OK.

Parking spaces were a little bit tight for large vehicles but there were convenient spaces available.
The location was perfect for access to both Northern Kentucky and Cincinnati. The room was spacious and included a kitchen area with full size appliances-very nice!

The only negative for us was that the air in the room was very dry which made sleeping a little less comfortable.
Staff was great. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast area was clean and well stocked.

The bed was too firm!
The accommodations were excellent. The room was clean and organized. Great having a refrigerator with a freezer. Loved the extras (coffee, tea and popcorn).The staff was extremely nice!

This is a very pleasant Extended Stay hotel, but they do rent rooms to travelers for a night or more. We were happy to be able to stay one night with them. The staff is very friendly, the hotel is very inviting, and quiet. They serve a continental breakfast which was a bonus. The area is near many restaurants and retail, but is also set back, so there is no traffic noise to disturb. If you asked me if we would stay there again, our reply would be definitely!
