Best breakfast ever

Astor house is a beautiful home outside and in, with cosy spacious rooms and a lovely dining room to enjoy. Tom and Linda are exceptional hosts and could not be more welcoming. We requested an early check-in at late notice as a snow storm was rolling in and they were very accommodating of us. But truly, Astor house is worth booking just to enjoy Lindas home cooked breakfasts! They are unbelievably good and I fear I will never eat another breakfast as good as hers. You MUST request their award winning Cinnamon bun - it will change your life. We absolutely loved our stay and would travel back to Green Bay (from the UK!) just to stay here again.

There wasn’t a single thing I would change. The Astor Inn was a wonderful experience and we’re looking forward to returning in the future.

The location was perfect, we were visiting The National Shrine of Our Lady of Champion. Linda and Tom prepared an outstanding breakfast for us, which we had in our room , prior to leaving for mass on Sunday.

Location is rather far from Lambeau Field but it had easy access to main roads.

The room was large and comfortable. It had all the amenities that one wants when traveling including a refrigerator in the room and great bathroom facilities. The hosts offer coffee and tea in the parlor along with a microwave and plates/cutlery. The breakfast was amazing and the hosts were friendly and helpful. We would definitely return.

The only thing I can even think of would be they supplied combo shampoo/condition type toiletries (which typically dont do well for ladies hair). I usually bring my own but happened to forget this time. In the big picture, this is very very very minor. We loved our stay!

The owners are so friendly and accommodating. We had to leave early (before breakfast usually starts) on our last day and they made a special to-go treat bag just for us. The first morning we had the option to eat down in the parlor or have breakfast served to our room. They even allowed you to select the exact time you'd want to have breakfast so they could make it fresh and hot for you. They really go above and beyond to ensure you enjoy your stay!

TV reception was sporadic at best. Fortunately, we didn’t watch much TV. Fresh towels each day would be nice. It’s what I do at home.

Breakfast surpassed my expectations. I’m usually a coffee and granola bar guy. The kind of breakfasts served are not really my thing. These were excellent!

Meh, nothing, except maybe the stairs….but the view was outstanding off our little balcony. So….what’s not to like?

Centrally located, beautiful landscaping, wonderful inside and out.We had 31 steep stairs up and down to get our suite which was crazy but my legs were firmed up almost as good as my dancing days! It was SO worth it! The food was amazing—brilliant fresh fruit and wonderful sweet and savory breakfasts.

I didn’t like that it was on a busy highway and unable to walk too far due to the busy highway.

The breakfast was exceptional and wee the inn keepers. It was the best place we stayed on our vacation.

It was wonderful in every way. We loved that it was close to downtown Green Bay and there were beautiful neighborhoods with sidewalks to walk on and a wonderful trail that followed the river. Our room was delightful and made us feel pampered and comfortable. The breakfasts were amazing and it was so nice to know that if we didn’t like some thing, we could request some thing different… But that never happened! And our sweet hosts were caring and warm, and by the time we left, we felt we had made new friends.

Our unit was bi level, and we were at the top of the building. We loved it, but if you have trouble with stairs, it is best to go with a different room. If you are up to it, you will be greatly rewarded!

Great building, lovely gardens, delicious breakfast. Our hosts Linda and Tom were friendly and full of suggestions re: how to spend our limited time in their city. The location is in a historical area so there is lots of eye candy. Beautiful homes everywhere! Linda goes over the breakfast menu in advance to make sure all guests are happy with the breakfast selections, something we have never experienced at a B&B prior! Great value!
