Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

United StatesHottub jets didn't work because filter needed changed. Outside furniture next to fire pit was broken and unable to sit around the fire. All outside furniture was dirty and needed cleaned. I don't believe the cabin was ready to rent. The inside was pretty much clean. I'm still upset that I had tonchose a different cabin and charged for both which is wrong.

United StatesWe discovered the location was too far away from the National Park and Gatlinburg which were our main reasons for visiting the area. We had problems using the washing machine due to a lack of water pressure. Not enough household supplies were provided (we had to buy more toilet paper, not enough kitchen garbage bags, only one kitchen towel). The hot tub needs better cleaning/chemicals (the water was cloudy and started looking unsanitary as the week went on), the jets didn't work, and the water never got hot enough. The cornhole boards were completely broken so we couldn't play. No chalk for the pool cue. No broom to sweep the floors. The kitchen table had dried food spots from previous occupants that weren't cleaned prior to our arrival. Vacasa customer service told us they would address the issues we called about but never did.
Our favorite aspect of this property is the seclusion away from other vacation rental areas, it feels very private (the only other living things we saw were cows in the adjacent pasture, and wildlife). The views from the decks were absolutely beautiful. The interior decor was very nice and up-to-date. King-size beds in every bedroom were extremely comfortable. We enjoyed the outdoor spaces, including the fire pit area (although the Adirondack chairs were loose and wobbly and in need of repair). The living areas were spacious enough for a large group, everyone was comfortable. Our teenage kids enjoyed the arcade, pool table, and dart board. We loved the porch swings for relaxing. Autumn's Peak Way was the most exciting and steepest mountain road we drove in Tennessee (get ready for an adrenaline rush)!
