What I didn't like Is that one of the Mexican Housekeeper was rude. She try to come in my room without knocking and my daughter was on the otherside of the door. On the 3rd floor The people above me where Banging on the floor and wall. And there is a lot of druggies on that floor being loud at night. Owner and wife is nice

The soundproofing of the room wasn't very good, I can hear the people from the next room talking. And the street around the location is a bit messy.

The staffs are really nice, they provided the luggage storage service. But overall it was a pleasent staying.

Once you take a walk up the stairs you immediately realize what kind of property you have purchased for the night. There is a public shower for rooms that do not have showers within them. The room smelled of cigarettes and there was trash, dust, and the bed had a simple sheet with no cover. The bed wasn't even attached to the head board. I'm 6'4'' , the "queen sized bed" was actually a full sized bed and I couldn't not fit. That's false advertisement. There were cigarettes in the window sill. The TV was not functional. I had to leave immediately.

Service was quick and I was able to check in with ease.

There is no air conditioning and the room is hot, there is a fan but barely does much. Bed was hard with only two thin pillows. There was a large gap between the floor and the bottom of the door to the hallway. It is not a sound proof room and you could see the hallway light coming through all night.

The blinds were dusted and TV was big. Disposable toothbrushes

Despite being a few blocks from Union Square, there were homeless people outside the hotel and along the street. I did not feel very safe walking at night

1. Room had no central cooling. Common for SF but still, it was 85° at night. At least there was a fan even if it was sub par it was just enough to sleep. 2. everything was diluted. Literally. From coffee to shampoo. Everything is about 20% potency. 3. Towels small and scratchy. Toilet paper was thin and cheap. 4. Area was tenderloin. Don't get it wrong. Definitely shady. Not nearly as bad as summer 2020 or 2021. I wasn't afraid to walk outside at night this time.

Friendly staff. They lived there so coming in late or Early didn't really matter. Bedding was good.

I didn't like how hot the room was. Hot stagnant air even with the windows open. Our room was consistently at 80 degrees. Our windows were completely bricked off which made it impossible to get a breeze (see picture).

I liked that the water was hot, the bed was clean and comfy, and that there was a mini fridge and microwave available.

Table fan was very dusty/dirty (almost looked worthy of throwing into the garbage). Sink in the 3rd floor shared bathroom (across from my room) was literally tearing off from the wall. I addressed both concerns to the hotel staff, but overall, this is not acceptable! Also, the location is within a rather rough part of downtown San Francisco (crime).

Electronic lock on the door was broken so we couldn't even get into our room at first. Had to go up and down the stairs several times to get someone to come look at it and let us into the room with a key. Then we are in the room but can't leave because the door isn't working. Eventually a guy came to change the batteries in the door lock and then it all worked.
