The crickets in the room were a surprise. Even though they are not harmful, it is a bit uncomfortable to have them inside. Luckily, they don't come back once you take them out and keep your door and windows closed.

The motel is renewed, it is easy to find, the rooms are spacious. Comfortable bed. Good location to travel to Las Vegas or Death Valley. The staff is friendly and they switched the rooms without a problem when we complained about the crickets.

We stayed only one night when we visited Death Valley, everything was OK. If you come around 8 oclock in the evening or later, I recommend to bring some food cause there are not may options where to eat (everything close quite early).

- Like many of the accommodations out there, there is only one chair in a 2 people room, had to take turns to eat takeaway.

- Laundry is available onsite, bring your own detergent. Detergent was sold out for the entire period we were there, it was not refilled, or you could drive to the other side of the town and check if the sister hotel has some left. - On the edge of Beatty (Nevada), one of the closest accomodation to the National Park entrance with moderate pricing compared to other states. - Beatty is a lot cooler than Death Valley, especially at night. - Service stations and restaurants are nearby.

The renovated room looked great and had everything I needed: a fridge, a microwave, and a king-size bed. The location worked for me. Death Valey Park was a 30-minute drive from the hotel.

3 black bugs in the room, 2 appeared in the evening (around the bed) and 1 in the morning (bathroom). It might be that we let them in as we had a lot of stuff to take inside so we left the door open quite long. Anyway, we took them outside and nothing dramatic happened.

Not a reflection on the hotel at all, but there is not much around the hotel. If you're there, you likely have a car and everything but a grocery store is a very reasonable distance away.

The room was clean and comfortable and it had both a fridge and microwave. The bed was very comfy, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The proximity to Rhyolite and the cool spot where the road looks like it disappears into a mountain (ifykyk) is fantastic.

No breakfast but coffee pot, mini fridge, and microwave in the room. Bathroom was roomy and looked to be newly remodeled. When we first arrived the room smelled strongly of pine cleaner but not so noticeable after awhile. We stayed two days and did not notice it the second day, Overall, comfortable and good value for our money.

We were upstairs and there is only two staircases at each end of the complex. The stairs were quite a ways from our door. If you are on the second floor you really don't get a close parking spot if the bottom is full. We had to park a ways from the stairs. The desk clerk was full and seemed real bored. Our bed was a nice king bed but the room used to have two beds I guess. There were huge areas on either side of the bed which could had held a nice soft chair to sit in but was empty. There was one chair at the desk for two people. Hard to find a place to sit to put on shoes or eat. No breakfast. No pool. Ice was on the other end of the complex. Carpets needed to be cleaned. HVAC unit was noisy but did work.
