The room was very clean and comfortable with ocean views. Quiet and close to beach. There were many great restaurants nearby. We went on a whale and dolphin watching cruise in nearby Cape May which was a lot of fun. Beautiful weather. The maid service was excellent.

The website pictures are incredibly deceiving. In reality the hotel is 75yrs behind those pictures. We had only planned on doing a day trip to the beach. At 5pm we decided to stay the night and books the hotel. We checked in at 7pm into what was one of the most outdated, rundown “hotels” I have ever seen. 15 minutes after getting into our room we had a medical emergency and needed to leave. The front desk called the owner about refunding the money since it was only a few minutes. He told us it was fine and to call the manager in the morning. We called her in the morning and also said it was fine, but since we went through booking.com, we would have to go through them. After contacting booking.com we received an email saying the hotel will not refund the money. This place is a scam. It’s dirty, and the employees are liars. Beware of this place.

The most obvious detriment is the housekeeping. Each morning, a crew of cleaners would come to the hotel, knock on our door, asking whether we are ready for the room to be cleaned. Inherently, it’s an awkward conversation which left me with feelings of guilt that I had not yet vacated the room. The cleaning staff leaves in early afternoon and after leaving too late (around noon) and missing the room cleaning on the 1st day, we felt compelled to get out of the room earlier each of the remaining days. For me, that’s not the vacation culture that I’d choose to endure again. Peripheral to the main detriment, the Beau Rivage is 22 blocks from the boardwalk, so plan accordingly if that affects your WildWood experience.

the location is by far the biggest asset, the parking is directly underneath the hotel, so that’s convenient as well. The entrance to the beach is also very convenient, basically at the end of the hotel. lastly, the two Weber BBQ’s were a nice touch, we BBQ’ed twice (1 lunch, 1 dinner) during our 5 night stay.

The beau rivage needs a facility upgrade. The furnishings of the rooms are newer but the facility itself, including the bathrooms and the pool, are in desperate need of renovation. The air conditioning is loud and does not cool the rooms. The pool is Dirty and too warm…… even if you want to use it you can’t because it’s too small and closes super early. The locks on the doors are not secure at all…. Maybe this isn’t an issue for some but as a family traveling with children safety is definitely paramount. The wifi is awful….. for the brief times that we needed it it’s slow and kicks you off. They do provide cups and plates and silverware which is nice. The staff is pleasant enough but they don’t clean the rooms well…. I wound up buying a broom and dustpan from Acme because the floors were never cleaned over a 4 day stay. Overall, we were displeased with our stay and likely won’t return. We do vacation at the crest yearly so we’ve experienced most of the hotels in the area and the beau rivage just didn’t measure up. For the price that you pay, you’re better off staying elsewhere.

Myself and my 11 year old daughter loved this place. It's perfect just the way it is.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was big and had a separate living room and a full kitchen n fridge. Definitely worth it and the beach is literally right out of the hotel which was Definitely a bonus for us. Thank you to the staff

The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with the added bonus of a great ocean view. We had direct access to the beach. The pool area was pleasant and well maintained. The restaurant on the first floor, Lemma’s, was a convenience we enjoyed but did not anticipate.
