The property was spotless and incredibly close to the beach. I couldn't have asked for a better location!

The only two negatives were that I would have liked to see a mattress pad between the mattress and the sheet. And the shower was horrible—antiquated, not a good spray that made it really hard to rinse off. It also whined horribly (faulty diverter valve). An inexpensive handheld shower head would be an easy fix.

We were on the ocean side of the building so it was lovely to have an ocean front view and private balcony. The bed was really comfortable—I think the mattress may have been new. Room was VERY clean and spacious, and the housekeepers did a great job when they freshened the room. Kitchenette was really a plus, and the convenient cafe in the building made for great breakfast in our room or on the balcony. This was a good dollar value during the shoulder season.

There are only stairs to the parking area on one side of the motel. If the pool is open and you're on that side of the motel you can go that way, but it's a very odd setup. The living room and balcony floors looked and felt as if they hadn't been cleaned. The thermostat is fixed to a max low of 68. The clock in the room sounded a random alarm at 12:44am. You can hear every time someone drags the heavy chairs across their floors. They use physical keys and not card keys so the maid left our door unlocked the one day which I'm certain was innocent, but something to be aware can happen. The bedroom window looked out onto a walk way and the lighting there at night was incredibly bright. We had to hang a blanket over the window for a little relief. The private ocean view balcony railing obstructs your view so I'm not certain it's worth the extra cost unless you want the privacy.

The location is wonderful as well as the price. I liked that there was always some sort of manager/maintenance person present daily.

The room color palette was not uplifting . Not enough outlets. To use the outlet you need to disconnect lamps from the plug. No table, no chairs.

I liked the ocean view. There is also a nice terrace with lounge chairs with ocean view. You can walk to the beach straight from the hotel. Close to Cape May town. You can rent boogie boards on the beach. There is nature reserve nearby.

One of the nights, guests were loud outside on the balcony and kept us awake. But otherwise it was one of my recent summer stay faves.

So clean and wonderful! They take great care of the property and it shows. Easy parking and lovely pool. very helpful staff. Amazing to have the grill on site at the base of the hotel - but it is cash only. (Not sure if they’re actually connected to the hotel but it’s a part of the convenience)

Smell of bleach in the room lasted whole stay. Not private balconies so people walking by window of room.

Insufficient TV channels. Need to have Netflix and Prime or ROKU options. Also the grill was not well maintained. Temp guage not working and knobs were broken. Laundry room needs a facelift. Grundgy look.

Some people smoked on the balcony which was a bit unpleasant & there was a step into the main lobby which was annoying to carry your luggage in for check in, but for check out I just left my bags outside the door because they were very quick with check in & check outs.

Cute place with great views of the ocean. I liked the little wall in between rooms to have a tiny bit of privacy as you sit on your shared walkway balcony. They also have glasses railings so no obstruction of ocean view. Great location on the beach. The pool is actually very cute as well. Friendly staff. I booked the day of my trip & requested high floor as a single female. They put smack dab in the middle of the 3rd floor with a great ocean view.

Our stay was wonderful! The room was clean recently updated and staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is beachfront, with a board walkway leading to the beach. The beach was beautiful and extremely clean. The beach restaurant was very convenient especially for a grab and go coffee in the AM and head on to the beach. The breakfast was very good especially the Belgium waffle with fresh fruit and reasonably priced.

Nothing not to like here. Wish we could have stayed longer !!

Everything was clean and wonderful. I should have brought steaks for the grill. The rooms were well tended to and we have no complaints! It was as close as could be to the beach access which made it easy to go to and from our room.
