The inn was beautiful! We were greeted warmly and the host made sure we had everything we needed. The breakfast was delicious and the room that we stayed in was extremely comfortable! I would highly recommend this hotel.

Beautiful property with a very interesting history which we enjoyed listening to over a lovely breakfast with our host. We were attending acceptance day at Ithaca College and so glad we chose to stay here. Extremely clean, comfortable, spacious and easy to find.

The accommodations were excellent. Very peaceful, home away from home. Beautiful stately main home, exquisitely decorated. Served full delicious breakfast, made to order, poached eggs to perfection. Staff went above and beyond to explain the history of the Benn Conger Inn and makes us feel very welcomed.

Everything!! Shelly and Drew were wonderful host. The inn is beautiful and the breakfast is amazing! Shelly really made us feel at home. Every morning she had the breakfast sun room filled with delicious coffee, juices, teas and hot chocolate. She had wonderful bread, muffins, fresh fruit and more. Then she prepared a cooked meal of our choice. We had pancakes, French toast and omelettes. Our room was perfect. Drew upgraded us to a larger room. It was lovely overlooking the back lawn. It had a beautiful gas fireplace and Shelly had coffee and tea available as well.

Historic and beautiful option outside Ithaca. Would definitely stay here again given the surroundings but specially the charm of the room and the house itself. That breakfast (OMG the homemade pumpkin pancakes) with those garden views remain as one of the highlights of our trip. In additon, we booked last minute and they were super helpful and arrival was easy and smooth.

Would have preferred a separate shower will keep that in mind when we return. Other rooms have separate showers.

Location was just right for our visit to our grandson attending Cornell University. The breakfast was to order and met our expectations.

Location a bit remote, but ok. for lakes and Ithaca. Would recommend to declare (and enforce) quiet hours at night from 10-7. We were woken up by neighbors using shower / jacuzzi extensively way past 11pm. (Which is not the Inn´s fault, of course.)

Very stately mansion, large, stylish room with patio; very friendly innkeeper; great breakfast with homemade goodies. (Loved the corn bread, among other things.)

The only negative we could find was that the particular room we had the bath and shower as well as the sink for the restroom were actually in the main room and not in a separate private bath like area. The toilet was in a toilet closet. I'm pretty sure we were in the only room or one of the only rooms that are set up that way. However the facility are in homes from the late 1800s into the 1920s.

The room and facilities were super clean. Also the host or hostess in our case went out of her way from beginning to end to make us feel welcome. In fact I'm not sure if she even had any help because we didn't see anyone else but her. If that is the case that I'm not quite sure how she does what she does because she would have to work around the clock to do it. The breakfast was excellent and again the facilities were impeccably clean.

Historical imposing property, tastefully decorated (owners are art collectors and every piece appears to have been carefully sought after), wonderful hosts and tasty home-made breakfast. Truly a very special stay, and perfect spot to visit at the beautiful Finger Lakes region.

Furniture on balcony was very uncomfortable and there was only one chair when technically, the room sleeps 2 or even 2 adults and a child.

Expansive grounds. Quiet neighbourhood. Decor on main rooms featured tons of nice antiques. Good sized rooms.

We really enjoyed the scenic ride to the inn, the building was beautiful, our bed was comfortable and clean, enjoyed having a delicious breakfast at the beautiful sunroom, staff were very friendly and accommodating.
