Really did not dislike anything. It is dated and there were items that are at the end of their life but kept clean.

Location is close to our local family. Was very clean and loved the breakfast options. Beds were excellent!

The remote to the tv wouldn’t change channels, we presumed it was a low battery.

The person who checked us in graciously put us on the lower level after we requested a lower level upon arrival. Very friendly and accommodating.

The only slight negative was that the entire communal area with games & tables next to the pool was rented out both evenings - we couldn’t eat a meal together, play the games, etc. It would be nice if they had a few tables in the game area for motel guests that was not rented out for parties - we had that expectation from a previous gathering. We made it work & still had a great time - would stay there again.

Free breakfast at Perkins Restaurant next door was great! Everyone enjoyed the pool area. Great location near my niece’s house where we were gathering for Thanksgiving. Very clean! Also, loved the free bottled water & drinks!

The only issue I really had, that wasn't anything major, was the air conditioner fan made a lot of racket but, it came and went so it wasn't constant.

I have stayed at several hotels in my travels but, I have to say that this hotel way exceeded my expectations. I walked in the rooms and was immediately blown away by how clean and fresh smelling it was. It was very much inviting and spacious. Bathroom was clean and so was the sink area. Like I said, I've been to a lot of hotels, but this one was by far the best. I will definately be recommending this hotel to everyone I know who may be traveling through Great Bend.

A few minor things: the toilet wasn't level; I made coffee in the room and the creamer curdled; air conditioner worked well but was loud.

It was clean when we 1st got there. But they had a party in the Big Room next to the pool and the renters group trashed the place after it was a done deal the next morning my family found party toys and trash, wrappers candy stuffed in pockets of the pool table. More than half the arcade games didn't work anyway, but trash behind the machines. The pool was warm, a blast to play and splash in. The hot tub was hot and felt wonderful. The beds I thought were clean and comfortable, very please in the room and the staff that checked us in. The staff that was there the morning to check out were upset about other guests in the hotel. And in voicing their opinions, I didn't enjoy hearing. And I think one may have been a manager. Never did see the face of her. She never looked over the counter to say good morning. The coffee machine in the front office was a favorite. Wish I had one at home. Super nice. The water, yogurt, and fruit were complimentary..bonus! Cleaning ladies I saw were friendly and sweet. I would come back and plan to.
