We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaWe stayed as a couple and were charged behind our backs for having a pet, after we left, no communication with us at all. Just charged our credit card and extra $100+ dollars. Then had to work with the manager who said that two staff saw us with a dog in the room. Instead of speaking with us right away, if that’s what they thought, then they would have seen that we in fact didn’t have a dog. Problem solved immediately. But no, they went behind our backs without any communication and then I had to fight with them for a month to get resolution and money back. They told me they’d have to review the cameras and I welcomed that, as we weren’t lying about a pet. So incredibly sad, because we are annual repeat guests and we’re completely shocked by how we were treated and the complete lack of forthright and respectful communication.
Location is wonderful and hotel suits our needs. The restaurant has very good food.

United StatesOur room was in a Wi-Fi dead spot, so had to sit in car in front of other rooms to access internet. Also, the pool appears to have been closed since COVID at the time of the visit.
An old school hotel that has been decently maintained by the current owner/staff. Reasonable sound proofing to avoid the motorcycle/car traffic on what is the main route to Lead, SD. While we did not go to the restaurant, it appeared to be an orderly, clean local place that served decently priced fare. Would recommend for those that are coming to the area for DUNE work in Lead, SD for brief or week long stays.
