They would not come in to clean our room, even after asking . The drains were clogged and wouldn’t drain properly.

The bathroom door did not fit the jam, could not be closed. Mirrors were filthy and floors not clean. Toilet seat was broken (unhinged). Asked for recommendations for dinner; did not get good response; was unable to find a restaurant in the area. I was charged $50 above the quoted price and have not yet seen the reimbursement.

When we arrived at the hotel, it presented itself very nicely. One staff member at front desk, didn’t know where any of the luggage carts were. We got to our our room and the “quick glance” room inspection seemed okay until the lights were turned on brighter. Dark black beds spreads on bed. Black mold on the ceiling in the bathroom. Shower curtain smelled musty and the picture hanging above the toilet was filthy. The floor in the bathroom was not properly swept. The corners were full of debris. We had 2 queen beds in the room and my husband said his bed sheets didn’t seem clean. I guess when he woke up and found a dead cockroach in the bed, that confirmed his theory. The bed I slept in was fine. I expected more from a Best Western and was deceived by the 7.9 ratings all across the board.

The inside of the hotel looks like it hasn’t been updated in 30 years. The breakfast wasn’t as good as at other Best Westerns. There were suspicious-looking black dots on the ceiling above the shower. The furniture was stained. The iron and hair dryer didn’t work. I also felt unsafe considering the type of people who were in the public areas.

The lobby had a strange smell, the hotel front door was broken and did not lock after hours. Upon walking into the room there were questionable stains on the carpet and it felt dank, shortly after walking in a roach climbed out of the nightstand. The bathroom area had mold and soap scum in and around the tub. Wall trim was missing in some areas. Additionally, the front desk staff indicated homeless people from the area may take things out the beds of trucks so I don't think the area is safe either. Would not provide refund.

The front desk staff tried to be accommodating regarding EV charging until I mentioned the condition of the room and the roach that was killed in the room.

the door to my room had a huge gap underneath, the sheets were stained, the room next to me was so incredibly loud, the sink was clogged, overall grimey & the breakfast options were poor.

Staff working when we checked in could not find our reservation, as well as 3 or 4 other guests. She did not appear to know what to do and when asked to call her manager for assistance, she replied that we needed to contact our booking company and we each used a different booking company. After sending a message ourselves to booking.com, the matter was resolved but it took 30 minutes and we were road weary and didn't appreciate that delay.

The television didn't work. First. I was offered another room that had been cleaned since the television didn't work. After I mentioned to the staff that the second room wasn't clean. The staff tried to offer a third room; I then requested a refund. In the process of getting my refund (first the staff didn't know how to do a refund, secondly the staff tried to get me to step to the side while he check in another customer that was in the line behind me). The customer service at this Best Western needs a lot of work. After nearly an hour, I was given my money back. I was very disappointed and dissatisfied.

Service staff. I think they're a little racially prejudiced. So I've decided not to ever stay there again they don't want my business. I asked a question to the service staff at the office desk and rather than answer the question she started getting loud with me. I had to tell her I did not raise my voice whether she likes to question or not all you have to do is say you don't want to answer it. But I asked her did she charge everyone $50 to stay there like she did me. And I know that's a lie because they did not charge the people that in front of me or some other ones that checked in that I was paying attention to I'm a 60 year old black man I don't like being racially discriminated against.
