How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

They did not want to make an early check in even paying for it and then at 4pm they put us in a bad bad room with broken things in the room this time was our fourth time there but i think we will not return there on our next vacations. Sorry!

They had a hard time finding my reservation, the room was not clean, the Wi-Fi didn’t work when I was in the room and the bathroom lights were not working.

There were some issues of the hotel. The first room they gave me the power in the outlet was not working then they transfered me in another room the t.v. is not working but they replace it. Then the handle of the fauset is broke
The location is good accessible of the public transpo. And the price is good as i need only sleep and shower. I have no complain of the price

Ar conditioning. I wont stay in this hotel again because of the air conditioner.

It’s to old, you can encounter bugs (I don’t know why because room service is daily). Smell like cigarette, the receptionist in the night and weekends is awful.
The price and the near to universal and good food (Rodizio Brazilian food is amazing) and the receptionist in the week days.

The room was wY in the back Noisy air conditioning, cutting on and off all day and night Room cleaned, EVERY OTHER DAY! Clean towels EVERY OTHER DAY! NO TELEPHONE.! HAD TO CALL ON THE OUTSIDE LINE TO GET THE FRONT DESK! ROACHES!

Cleanliness of the hotel, stairs were often full of garbage. Smelled of urine at the ice machine. Only got new towels once. One towel for 2 people for several days. We did ask for more though. Had to ask for a minifridge. Decor in the lobby was outdated. They looked as though they were decorating on our floor so that’s a positive (painting, new floors by the looks)
I liked how close the property was to theme parks

The smell , roaches and refrigerator not working. They didn’t clean room the second day. We need fresh towels. The lobby needs new sofa . It’s a nice location but need a whole make over . The doors are too thin heard too much noise. The front desk employees were nice.

The front desk was Terrible. He was not customer friendly and not helpful No remote for TV, no towels in the room. All vending machines on ALL FLOORS broken or sold out. Had to leave hotel at 3am and walk to get water.

The room had a smell, cigarette smoke despite the no smoking signs and mildew. The bedding was clean but the pillows were very flat. The room did have enough towels. The inside back of the microwave appeared rusty. On our first night we tried calling to let the hotel know we were arriving after midnight so they would cancel our reservation and was on hold for over an hour with no answer. We called the front desk for some more towels and they never came. One of the pictures in the hallway looked like it was growing mold inside the glass. We couldn't find a working ice machine, even after walking multiple floors. The parking lot is very dark and has big pot holes.
The location was close to everything including places to eat. The room came with a refrigerator and a microwave. There was plenty of parking. There are multiple elevators and a pool.
