Old hotel with a bit of cigarette smell. What bothered me was the inability to upgrade to a room with two beds - even with my willingness to pay and the available room.

A good option in Memphis, close to the main attractions.

the thermostat was set at 65°. could NOT change it. when I’m paying $225/night, I want to be able to change the thermostat. the neighborhood is okay …. sorta. again, $225, I expect a good neighborhood.

It was clean and specious. But location wise you have to rely on uber or taxi. No food place is in walking distance. It seems like a little bit of expensive compared to other hotels even though it's not a fiver star.

Good location for travelling into central Memphis and Beale Street - nice big room - easy parking - friendly staff - breakfast adequate - eateries supermarkets around area

The location is not ideal, if you want to leave your car. There is no real public transportation available, and the walk to Downtown and Beale Street is quite far and not very comforting.

The staff is friendly, breakfast all right, the rooms clean and comfortable.

The breakfast could have been a little better even though it is complimentary and on the second morning I had no hot water for almost 20 minutes when I was trying to take a shower. And the office chair could have been a better quality it was looking kind of beat up.

In our room it stank of smoke but it was not possible to change ist. The air-con was roaring very loudly (it was hot outside). The coffee from the machine was awful. The breakfast was cleared away already at 8:30 (fruits, porridge)

there was sufficient parking space. The personnel was extremely friendly and helpful. We found the soft bed very comfortable.

Breakfast was cleared at 820 each morning and breakfast ran till 9am - although we got down to breakfast at 8am so it was not such a problem for us - people came after to find half gone back in pantry- very poor and the staff were not sociable at all and was on their mobiles so it felt as if we were interrupting them

The shower took forever to warm up. And towels were rough. Also, they said booking.com's payment didn't go through. There was a price difference of a few cents. But the front desk person was able to fix it.

Sheets and pillow cases were stained. There was a stench in the lobby. When I checked into my room all of the doors were open on the floor including my own

Breakfast was very limited and the staff were removing breakfast items 15-20 minutes before 9:00am, which was when breakfast was scheduled until. Had to be up very early if you did not want to be rushed for breakfast.

The location was OK with easy access to downtown. The room was a good size and very comfortable.
