The curtains wouldn’t close! We only had shear curtains and there was a light right outside the window and we were in ground level. Didn’t sleep good because of this!

We were looking for a place with a swimming pool. The listing showed there was a pool, which is why I booked it. Upon arrival, I found out the pool was closed. The beds were not comfortable. My back was killing me when I woke up.

The staff were exceptionally friendly. The front desk clerk was great! The housekeeping staff were really nice!

Cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired. The lampshade was covered in dust, behind the nightstand and bed were piles of dust and miscellaneous odds and ends, dust on the nightstand and on the bathroom floor dried up blob of something. Noise: extremely noisy while trying to sleep from other rooms doors opening and closing to not sure what it was but every few minutes it sounded like something was dropping onto the floor (have you ever heard a weight dropping to the floor at a gym) that was the noise. Not sure where it was coming from but several times each night I would hear it. The light that came in from under the curtain made for a lighted up room so you never felt like it was nighttime. Pool closure: I called the hotel prior to arrival and asked if pool would be open. I was told that it was closed due to repairs and NOT COVID related. They told me that they expected it to open in the next couple of days. When I got there the sign on the pool said that it was closed due to Covid through the end of the year. The inspector came while I was there and the staff said that didn’t didn’t want to reopen the pool until next year. Staff: even though she was efficient in checking us in(2 rooms) she was not friendly, never smiled and we felt as if she was not enjoying being there and only collecting a paycheck. Other interactions with her during our stay were the same.

The location was perfect. Just off the highway which made it easy to get to. Centrally located in Johnson City and easy to get to surrounding areas. Complimentary breakfast was good. Nice selection of items.

Breakfast sparce. Rarely open times posted. Advertised as a hot buffet breakfast & certainly not close to cold continental. Almost all who came in complained but seems nobody listened. Housekeeping came by door asking about need for towels & sometimes grabbed trash.

Not much, although older hotel needs more remodeling.

The room was not indoors, and apparently if you are a frequent visitor then you have to call and request an indoor room. I was none the wiser. Also, the outdoor rooms have wasp nests, cob webs, and cigarette butts everywhere. My room had cigarette burns all over the place, but the bed was comfy and the room was otherwise clean

Layout very confusing, two hotels smushed together. Breakfast was lacking, no pool after they said it was open. Lots of permanent residents.

The number one reason we booked this hotel was for the outdoor pool. According to staff, it has not been opened in years and there is no intention to open it. We had several families in town for baseball and had absolutely nothing to do in between games. There was a lot of questionable activity going on in and around the hotel which made us feel unsafe.

I liked that it was cheap, but you definitely get what you pay for. Kudos to the cleaning staff, an older couple. They worked very hard and did a great job.

Nasty. The first room we were put in the people next door had a room with adjoining doors and the cigarette smoke was billowing into our room through the doors and when my husband went into the bathroom there was a cockroach in the bathtub. I went to the desk and the gentleman working was very nice and put us in a room across the hall. It was better it didn’t stink as bad as the first one. The pool was closed of course still due to Covid. Ugh. Apparently there are a lot of locals that are living there and it’s not a good environment for families.

The woman at the front desk was very rude when I first arrived. I was only given one key card when there were two adults. All of the amenities were closed “ due to “covid .” The room was nothing like the photographs, the room was not clean and had a weird smell. I will not every stay at this hotel or any other Days Inn.

I did not like the fact that I could hear everything through the walls in the room beside of us and across the hall, the front staff wasn’t necessarily helpful

The smell of the rooms was so pungent and strong. It was a horrible smell. Smelled of bowel movement and a mixture of other things. I had to ask for them to come spray the room several times. The only spray they had was the dollar air freshener which could not take the smell away at all. That smell was something that needed professional attention. I also didnt like that there was no mention of the pool not being open as that was the main reason i booked the room in the first place.

UPGRADE!! The ac didn’t work and was plugged into an extension corn, I’m pretty sure this is illegal!? The bath and shower were dirty with bugs and other unknowns stuck to the wall. The ice maker, laundry and bathrooms by the breakfast area were of order. And the pool area was a disaster!!

The bed was comfortable but the place was a mess! They haven’t upgraded and need to do so immediately!!
