I was on the first floor and it was very noisy. I could hear the traffic from the outside road and freeway loudly. I had to turn the old fashioned A/C unit on full force to drown the noise out. Also, there were no electricity outlets near the sink. Finally, there was no store inside the hotel to purchase water or snacks. I had to walk to the nearby gas station to purchase those items.

The room was clean and the staff was friendly.

The only minor inconvenience was the water machine location being only on level 7. All other levels only have ice machines.

Convenient location to Honolulu Airport. Shuttle Bus is very handy to and from the airport, and driver was helpful for rental car location. Room was clean and had comfortable beds. Massive breakfast, endless options including muffins, danishes, bread/toast, waffles, fruit, eggs, coffee and tea - handy takeaway containers as well if you're in a rush.

Needed to walk to takeaway places nearby for an evening meal. Breakfast was not supplied, since it didn't start until after I had left. Pretty noisy outside, since it is right beside the road to the airport.

Situated on very busy highway. Street noise level high.

Comfortable rooms. Previous night stayed at a hotel charging $1000/night, and room was less spacious, but as comfortable, and services were better.

Price amount for early check-in & late check-out. Should be based per hour rather than flat rate. Early check-in & out is based on availability unless previously arranged with the hotel. Shuttle bus timing is now every hour whereas it was every 1/2 hour in previous years.

Location close to airport. Improved food quality for breakfast. Substantial over previous years. Bus shuttle to & from the airport included in the price of the hotel.

The breakfast left much to be desired. The selections were minimal (scrambled eggs were listed but not on the buffet, just fried rice. They ran out of pastries quickly.

Service - throughout our stay we were served at the reception by the same lady, who was VERY unpleasant and spoke too fast, broken English. She didn't consider our needs at all, she acted on the principle of "I have to do this and I don't care how you feel about it". We booked the hotel because of the recommended breakfast + proximity to the airport. BUT I absolutely do not recommend breakfast there to anyone. I'm from Europe and I didn't have what to eat there. Everything is sweet. There are no vegetables at all, nothing you can make yourself sandwiches from. If you eat sweets for breakfast, you will be satisfied.

On the plus side, definitely the proximity to the Honolulu airport and the free shuttle to and from the airport. Nor can one complain about cleanliness. Overall - the hotel is exactly what you would expect from it.

Rooms have a large glass window that faces the pool area. These windows were filthy. The noise from the road is so loud also. We were in a lower room so maybe in the higher ones would be better. But no lift on the lower area of units (2 floors only). Also breakfast is only from 7am so if you leave earlier, too bad.

Free shuttle (other than tips) was great. Room was older but clean sheets and comfy bed.
