This is a cute and cozy place. Perfect for a getaway weekend. Location was off the beatin path and in walking distance of everything . Loved the hospitality and detail the couple took to make sure we had all we needed. Would definitely go back..

Loved that it was walkable to downtown. Quiet and romantic, perfect for a getaway. Loved the garden and holiday decorations, bathtub was the star of the show!

The location was great. Communication was on point and the owners were attentive and quick to reply when I had to contact them to adjust arrival time. I loved the home, their hospitality for all the little things they had (like coffee, muffins and chocolate) and I enjoy writing in their guess book. Wonderful customer service!

I booked for 3 adults but there was no bedding for the sofa bed. Also there wasn't any water stocked so we had to buy water for our tea. Really wasn't a problem but the information in the room said it was stocked in the cabinet. We really did enjoy our stay and realize things happen. We rolled with it and made it work.

Being a cottage, I assumed there was a full kitchen and brought frozen food. There was only a mini fridge and microwave. I should have looked better, so it was not an issue, it was my own mistake.

The ice maker is a nice touch, but does not leave a lot of space next to sink.

The room was really quaint, clean and well appointed. It was in a quiet part of town, close enough to walk to and around town. The garden area was lovely to sit out in.

The lights in the bedroom would not shut off, I could dim them but not shut them off all the way, did not get a good nights rest because of this. There was nowhere to put food or drinks down, a small table in front of the living room window would have been nice.

Bed hard

We booked a two night stay and only stayed 1 night. The bed was way to hard and we could feel the springs. We did not sleep well at all and our bodies were very so sore the next two days.

We were told at booking.com that the total bill would be $267.64, however, James charged my credit card $308. When I questioned him about it he said, well I have to charge tax. I will definitely not be using booking.com ever again and I will not be recommending my friends or family use it or ever stay at Betty Lou's Garden!!!!

Stairs to the bedroom was hard to navigate in the middle of the night. No cable TV. Couch was uncomfortable. Noisy hosts, you can hear all conversations throught the wall. Other than that it was fine.
