Nothing we could think of. The only thing we were unhappy with was the restaurant "Alice's" in the casino. The food was BASIC no eye to detail. Waited 1 1/2 hours for a stack of pancakes.

The rooms were nice size. New renovations were excellent. High end motel feel. Beds were so comfy!

Recommend opening a true tap room. The bar/lounge was ok, but would have enjoyed sampling the locally brewed beer in a different setting. one of the attractions was the brewery.

I was told by day staff the day before that I could do early check in and late check out. They had my room ready early as requested but when I got up the next morning I was informed late check out was not being honored that day and I had to check out at 11:00. They also said late check out had to be requested the morning of. The front desk employee did not tell me this the day before when I requested it. As it was 10:55 when I spoke to them they rushed me to be out as soon as possible. I gathered my things as did my husband and we left. I might add that this was not our first visit as we spent our honeymoon here in April 2019 and had stayed every year for our anniversary since then except when they were closed for remodel. We were excited to be returning this year. The remodel was nice but the staff were not as we remembered. We will probably stay elsewhere from now on.

Beautiful new beds and rooms.. location is very safe and scenic. I worried about parking my car at other hotels. This one always feels safe.

I REALLY wish they had SOMETHING set up for kids to do. Just some small things - OR work closer with the local community center to advertise the options. We were in Humboldt for a family vacation so we needed to split up the time.

The restaurant options were great the hotel was brand new and it felt like it! It was a fun place to hang out for a few days. They also had some good entertainment lined up over the weekend. The Mad River Brewery and BBQ place down the street are fantastic!!

Located in a beautiful, quiet valley. The rooms are big, modern, and luxurious feeling for the price point. It almost felt like a Vegas-style casino hotel. Bed was comfortable. Wine hour on Fridays and Saturdays are fun.

There really wasn’t anything I didn’t like

SMOKE FREE! Smoke free gaming floors, restaurants, hotel rooms! The restaurant service was excellent, we were here for my birthday, we had picked up one of my favorite celebration deserts at bakery and we wanted ice cream we came down to the restaurant 15 minutes before they were closing and they were so gracious, saying of course come in and enjoy the celebration. Also all the food we had was very good—especially the sushi bar, the head sushi chef was attentive to the people he was serving, the presentation and tastes were exactly what I anticipated! Loved our experience at both restaurants…

Everything: the facilities, the hot tub, the concert venue on site, but most of all the entire staff was simply amazing!!! They went out of their way for me and everyone who came into contact with them!! Seriously, they were the best!
