The gentlemen we met when checking in didn't do a very good. His discouraging comments on the lack of elk and bear attacks almost made us turn around and leave. Also, the refrigerator in cabin 2, freezes the contents, no matter what setting you use.

The Blue Moon is perfectly located for our elk hunting. Sleeping in a warm bed beats a tent or camper.

We enjoyed our stay at the Blue Moon Saloon. We chose this place because it was pet friendly and our friends brought their small dogs. The food was good (especially the prime rib), the bar drinks were good and the staff was friendly and great. The cabins were quaint and had everything we needed. Its a little jaunt in to Ennis but overall a good location. There are lots of things to explore in either direction of Cameron.

I decided on this place because it had a Bar & Cafe. No where did it say it was only open certain days. Had to drive 11 miles to get food & drinks.

Rustic cabin accommodations, but very, very well equipped. Spacious and clean as well. The views outside and around the property are incredible. Very friendly staff across the board.

Floors were not level but considering it’s an old log cabin it was understandable. Same goes for outdated appliances - not bad, just old.

Beautiful location surrounded by mountains. Easy access to Yellowstone, which let’s be honest is probably what you need most if you’re considering Cameron, MT. Comfortable bed. Clean for being an old log cabin. Owners were very sweet and understanding of our late arrival.

Bathroom was a little tight. Husband didn't have room for his shoulders to get close to the sink to brush his teeth. And I am short so the mirror was to small and high to do my hair and makeup.

Internet service was spotty but I expected this out in the middle of Montana.

The cabin was stuffy and it was hard to breathe. The windows in the bedroom were sealed closed so we couldn't open it. It is a old wooden cabin so it was hard to breathe with the windows closed. They do have an AC unit and heater but I cannot sleep with that noise and it is not enough to change the air inside. The floors and the windows are old. This cabin would be a lot better if the old carpet would be replaced with something more modern and easy to keep clean (such as tiles or laminate) and if the windows will be replaced with new window that can be opened. The cabins are right at the main road so it is loud . I woke up very early from a loud truck noise and could not fall back asleep. Other than that we had a good stay.

We liked the location of the cabin, the closest afortable option near Yellowstone. The cabin was pretty clean and nice. The host was really nice, they served me dinner at the restaurant even though we arrived half an hour before closing time.
