Great size room. A lot of parking. The bathroom and setup was nice. The staff were very nice and great. I had an issue with my key (I had it close to my credit cards) and they fixed it right away. The coffee in the morning was nice and overall it was a nice stay. It's a few minutes from the beach and for the price, very great value.

You could hear some of the neighbors in the other rooms at times.

It’s beautifully remodeled, the pool area looks great (it was too cold while we were visiting for pool time). They have both single rooms and cottages with gas fire pits in between. It’s a very cozy place with many beaches and restaurants around. The staff is wonderful and very helpful with suggestions of where to go and what to do.

The room was dark. Black floor tiles were dreary and not sure how easy they are to clean. Definitely not enough storage in room or bathroom especially for 4 people. If you needed to dress in the bathroom, there was nowhere to set clothes down. No hooks for towels, no place to hang wet bathing suits.

Just coffee was provided in the lobby. However great breakfast restaurant in walking distance. Also within walking distance to very small public beaches. Parking would cost $30. Pool area wonderful! Large indoor and outdoor pools as well as hot tub. Towels provided. Lounge chairs clean and comfortable. Covered seating area lovely. Beds in room were comfortable.

Stayed in ADA room. It would have helped us a chair in the room — there was not a chair for my husband to lean onto to get on and off bed.

There could have been better insulation. I could hear every bump above me, next to me and outside my door. My keycard expired a day early so I had to call the emergency number to get let in on my last night. My door tag flew off twice, so while I didn’t want turn over service someone tried to enter my room because they couldn’t see the door tag. There was no where to sit in the room except the bed and there was a kettle for tea but no where near the counter to plug it in.

Ask for a room on the upper floor if you’re staying in the main motel. Floors are a bit creaky and you’ll hear folks walking around otherwise. That being said, the guests were respectful of others and were quiet overall.

Nice grounds, great location, incredibly friendly staff. Comfortable beds, upscale linens, nice pools (indoor and outdoor), great options for shaded seating. Firepits are a nice touch. The cottages are wonderfully cozy with plush amenities.

Rooms are not well isolated, guests in next room can be overheard, hence ad ttimes noisy/lack of privacy.

Just one blind over the window so it was either open or closed. On the ground floor it would have been good to have a blind that tilted or a voile curtain for more privacy. The room had a microwave, kettle and fridge. This wasn't advertised but would have been great to know. No tea or coffee or creamer provided.

Really cool retro decor, which we loved. Have never stayed in a motor lodge before, but this was lovely. TV had netflix which was super. Indoor and outdoor pools were great although the outdoor one was being treated during our stay so we couldn't use it. We loved the fire pits but we weren't there long enough to use one. The Wooden Shoe was great for dinner and the Wee Packet was a fantastic breakfast spot. We were only there for one night but would definitely recommend and return. Free coffee at reception in the mornings. Would love to stay in one of the little self catering lodges which looked fab.

There are a few teething issues. Room 9 door needs adjusting so the lock is better. If you are providing a kettle either advise to bring your own tea or coffee or supply this, although free coffee is available at reception from 7am till 11 each day.

The beds were comfy. The outdoor pool area was great. All staff were friendly and welcoming.

There were little things that should have been taken care of before opening the location. For example - there were zero towel hooks in the room which is a problem when you have several bathroom towels plus beach towels that need to be hung up to dry. Some of the fixtures like the bathroom door were run down which should have been more of a priority instead of the fancy water carafe that I didn't use.

The location was perfect! We could walk to the Wee Packet for breakfast and truly felt that we were on vacation.

Pretty expensive, I know it's the cape in August, but was expecting a really high-end place for the rate we paid. Coffee in the lobby in the AM was just a keurig machine, no real seating in a double queen room other than on the beds.

Pet friendly, the new outdoor pool was really nice. Walking distance to EXCELLENT breakfast place and to an ice-cream shop.
