The only thing I didn’t like about the property was the bathroom doors you could see into the bathroom. It was barn style doors which were beautiful but had a gap at the back end.

I really liked how the staff made it extremely easy for my family and me. From check in to check out they were always available and help to answer any questions and gave great recommendations.

Expected better views for the money. I was annoyed they had no filtered water available for guests to refill water bottles, though the front desk was willing to oblige from the employee water bubbler in back. With an ice machine already there how difficult would a water station be? The ships coming and going from the wharf use loud horns, so probably not good for those who like to go to bed early. They stop around 10pm it seems.

Hotel was very clean, rooms were modern and well maintained. Close to a lot of fine dining and nightlife (more when COVID is gone). Easy walk to the North End for 100+ fine italian dining options, next door to Legal Seafood too. Tia's bar and restaurant adjoining hotel is is good for a drinks and apps on the patio and while people watching. We could see some of harbor from our "wharf view" room. Room w/ single king was comfy, though moderate in in size. Shower was nice. Walking down the wharf 1/4mi to the harbor walk pavilion had fab views tho, even better at night.

Refrigerator in the room wasn’t working. No exhaust fan in the bathroom.

Location, location, location. Super convenient for walking to restaurants and attractions. The maid service is on a call-for-service basis, which is both smart and convenient.

Hidden $30 destination charge per room! Breakfast had run our of most things by the time we had got there, considering you have to $30, you don't get a lot for money! Noisy Truck left idling outside at 3am for 10-15 minutes! Escalators still broken in the lobby! see the google reviews, this is an ongoing issue!!

Location was great for what we needed. Other than that I can't say anything more positive about this place. Nothing more positive to say Having to add extra text here as a filler to be able to submit review.

We booked a suite in advance and therefore paid a great price according to what was offered in the images. The view of the Harbor. However, to our surprise we were placed in a suite at the back of the hotel with a view of the square and a small part of the harbor. We were disappointed. The hotel tried to move us to a suite without a window lol offering a King bed, that doesn't exist! In the end we stayed in suite 710 at the back, we didn't see the fireworks as we planned and they gave us a $100 grif card to spend at the restaurant. But our expectation of making a new reservation will be very low for this time of year.

The hotel has a wonderful structure, very attentive staff.

I thought the hotel would have been much nicer for the price we paid. Room is way over priced. Air conditioner didn’t work the whole stay. Someone came and check it but it still didn’t work. You offered us a fan for a 450.00 a night room. Also the bath tub was very slippery we actually had to put a towel down inside the tub cause my daughter almost fell the first night showering there. Another thing we didn’t like is every where we ever stayed and that has been quite a few Hotels we never had the maid come in every day. And it seemed like it was a must which I didn’t think that was right. If we don’t want them coming in every day that should be our choice. Why couldn’t we just tell them what we needed. There were not very many options in the hotel for the price. Our first time staying at a Marriott and it will be our last. Thank you for listening to my experience with you.

It was good but way to high priced for what you had available at the buffet.

The L and LL on the elevators caused major confusion amongst the guests. It’s literally what everyone talks about when trying to figure out which floor to select.

The location is excellent, the valet parking is great. There were two false fire alarms in one day, one was at 2 am and both led to partial evacuations.

The ceiling is very low. The whole room is far from what it looks like in the photos. The front desk man who checked us in gave us a room with a broken bathroom door. When we called them again from the room and said the room number, they said they knew that room. Thus, if some of the staff were aware of the broken door why they still gave it to me? The good side is that they changed the room for us and upgraded it for us.

The bed is comfortable, and the room is very clean. The location is very good.

The hotel needs an overall refurbishment. The staff was not that friendly. I was travelling alone for business, and at check-in, the receptionist was pushing too much to get me to pay an additional usd 400 per night to get the presidential suit.

The location is the best thing about this hotel, and if you are lucky and get a room with an ocean view, it would be a big plus.

Pillows were very tough to sleep on and pool towels old, small and rough. Started off with nice white ones then changed to older ones. With a stripe. Horrible! Mini fridge didn’t work. We called and maintenance came up immediately. Turned the knob on but still never cooled enough to use😔 Pool is quite small for size of hotel and we were there during school vacation. So pool was packed! We only took our kids in at 7:30 AM! So if that’s important to your family might want to look for a hotel with a regular size pool.

Location was excellent for families! Buffet breakfast and Waterline menu very good. Kids selection better than all other restaurants we went to( pizza a plus!)

    1) When we arrived, we were a little ignored. 2) There were so so many people around inside & outside of the hotel. 3) The nightstands were a little dirty. 4) There was some trash behind the trash bin in the bathroom. (I forgot other things about what was dirty when we arrived) 5) it does not look like a hotel that cost $1615 for 2 nights without WiFi included ( some hotels in DC & VA like the Ritz-Carlton in VA for example will cost around $600 for 2 nights, and it looks tremendously better and super clean than that). 6) they charge another fee on top of what you pay on booking.com when you get there.

    1) Almost closed to everything. 2) it looks same as the pictures.

I tried to order wine to my room one night, you can't actually order from The Waterline and the selection of room service wine is horrible and expensive. It took them 1.5 hours to bring me my wine and didn't even bring the type I wanted. The front desk staff was not very informed when I asked about food, parking, anything. The waitstaff though was all amazing. The cost of food at Waterline is high for what you get for dinner. And for kids it isn't really the best, we were the only people with kids and mostly business travelers. It is a little funny to be the family in pjs and jeans next to a bunch of suits. The parking is expensive, I used valet because with 2 littles I couldn't manage anything else. But I feel the cost of $59 a night is really too high and then you are expected to tip every time which ends up to being really expensive.

I liked the location. I went with my two kids, 7 and 4. It is literally next to the aquarium so we walked over in the mornings with coffee and pjs and looked at the seals. The rooms were large, I had a 2 queen bed room and it was big, the bathroom was nice. The breakfast buffet was great for kids, lots of fruit and eggs and pancakes.
