Shared bathroom although it was also very clean

The place was very cool and clean. Very nice and clean lobby and kitchen. The bedroom was also very clean and spacious.The neighborhood was very good and near public transport system.

Was uncomfortable with the idea that the TV and kitchen were within another apartment but was assured that this was not an issue for anyone in that apartment

We really needed a mirror in our bedroom. We had to constantly go to the bathroom to use the one in there.

The place was very clean; the owner is very accessible via messages and calls, they answer as quickly as possible. The rooms had everything we needed. The neighborhood was very quiet and the location was so easy to find. Also, the owner has moved us few days before our arrival in the first floor and we had the best private time the first few days of our stay. We really enjoyed this time and it was really thoughtful of the owner for doing so.

Some room neighbors made a lot of noise at night in common areas, such as the living room and kitchen.

My spouse and I stayed in this property during October 2023 for one week. The owner of the property was very helpful to us. The kitchen has all the things needed to prepare meals. By taxi we reached any part of Boston easily. In terms of value, it is a very affordable place to stay if compared with the price in other neighborhoods of Boston which are close to downtown.

It's not really a complaint, more of a heads up to future guests - I was on the third floor and the relatively thin staircase made it hard to get a heavy suitcase to the room. For me it wasn't too bad and obviously I only had to navigate it twice (once on arrival and once when I was leaving) but if you struggle lifting suitcases upstairs and require an elevator then this might not be the place for you.

It really felt like a home away from home. I didn't use the kitchen facilities much but they worked well and seemed very new. The kitchen is shared with I think two other people. Everyone kept to themselves and kept the shared spaces very clean. My room was amazing - the bed is very comfortable; there is more than enough storage including a walk in closet; and the whirlpool tub in the bathroom was incredible and the perfect way to relax after a long day of sightseeing. It felt like a home away from home - but an upgraded version. On the day I arrived I got a very useful text explaining how to access the room through the keypads - there are three levels of security which made me feel very safe and secure. The owners also sent me some reccomendations of things to do. Even though I never physically met them, they clearly make an effort to ensure that their customers have a good experience in the room and in the city.

The bed was comfortable, but needed a better duvet. Mark did alter the temperature but I was still somewhat cold at night.

The pillow was too soft and small. We had to share the bathroom with 2 other rooms. We were promised to share the bathroom with only one room. The ac cannot be manually controlled.

The house was in a quiet neighborhood. It seemed safe enough. Bus stations are between 5 - 15 minutes away. Clean with all amenities available.

Neighborhood outside was a bit noisy at night, but it was quiet and peaceful inside.

We flew to Boston to drop our son off at Northeastern university. The guest house is very nice and clean. Everything is new. Kitchen is well-equipped. The price is reasonable. The host is kind and caring. He helped buy some school supplies our son’s school required because we did not know where to buy. Absolutely, we will come back.

The location is not the best, you need to use public transportation, there are a lot of buses around the area.

The ventilation in the bedroom could make it a bit hot. Need to take a bus to get to the subway. You could however take an Uber to Boston for around $10.
