How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We stayed for 6 nights spent a lot of money and because we checked out late twice the lady said we couldn't stay there ever again she was very rude and made us feel like we didn't belong and belittled us

The hallways smell like mold and cigarettesZ. Our original room had water all over the floor which seemed to leak from the radiator. They were great about switching our room, but the only alternative was a smoking room on the second floor. Theres no elevator btw and we had to move all out things and small children. The beds were not comfortable at all! They squeeked and shifted all around. The pillows felt super flat and stiff!
The location seems nice and safe. The staff was super friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean for an older motel. I can be super picky about cleanliness and I’d say this passed.

The hallway had smoking smell.
Nice location, very close to where we need to be. Very close to two nice restaurants, gas station and store. The ladies at front desk were very friendly.

The steering smell of cleaning fluids. But at least that was reassuring.

The hallway smelled awful so did the room as soon as I enter. The cleaning person did not clean throughly there was hair in the tub and hair on top of the ice bucket. I brought my own cleaning products. The bed was very uncomfortable. My room was near the door that made loud noises each time someone open it.Well I should say it was slammed. The walls are so thin is insane. The most important items were not in the room a microwave and a refrigerator I do not like hotels that do not have those two items in the rooms. Also the motel just didn’t feel safe to me. I won’t go back.
The people at the front desk were nice. I love the bar wood floor in the room.

It smelled like a kennel. It appears that people are residing there. Garbage cans in the hallway filled with to-go food stinking up the place. Degenerate, dirty people

our room smelled like the ammonia smell you get when you don’t clean your cat litter box for a few months. it was very potent.
The location was great for where we needed to be all weekend. For the most part it was quieter than the facility we stayed at the weekend prior

The bed was old and not very comfortable. The building’s entryway is literally collapsing.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room was bare but clean. It was quiet.

Pretty basic, no-frills motel. No carpeting on floors, just what appears to to vinyl plank, left comopletely bare. No coffeemakers in rooms, though some coffee was offered in the lobby.
Among the more economical accommodations in the New Haven area, where one generally gets low value for one's money. Good location not far from I-95.

it could have been cleaner and the beds were awful!! very thin and I could feel the springs in the bed. Pillows were flat.
It was close to everything we needed and had a wonderful pizza place attached to it

Didn't like the water pressure it was very low also it wasn't check out time and the cleaning women opened the door and attempted to walk in didn't appreciate this I stay here frequently never had this issue didn't receive an apology from her for her total disregard for my privacy this shows a lack of respect when I check out i turn the key card in the mattress wasn't that comfortable
