Every flush of a toilet or showering of other guests was loudly audible. That was big draw back. Parking nearby the hotel is an issiue. Either too expensive or not available.

There is free coffee and hot water 24/7 available. A good bed to sleep on. The basics aresufficient.

Very loud airconditioning in the room, that we had to keep on to keep the temperature down. There was no parking space at the hotel, and they couldn't help us find another. Luckily we found $30 overnight parking a few blocks away, but it was a bit stressful to figure that out while in an unknown city with lots of traffic.

Small room but had all I needed -- large bed, desk, stool and spacious bathroom with clothes hanger area. Found hotel on lovely street 20 minute walk from the White House with some restaurants within 5 minute stroll. A venerable old building that was very fancy or chic, but is clean, quiet, safe with friendly staff.

It is a very simple hotel that is very outdated. The carpets in the corridor no longer look very hygienic. Car parking fees are very high. Unfortunately, this applies to the whole of Washington.

It is within walking distance of all museums as well as the Capitol and White House.

We got the smallest room in the whole hotel and it was literally just bed and bathroom. Only stayed for 2 nights so wasn’t that bad but I wouldn’t necessarily want to come back again. Also there were a lot of rats around the entranceway.

A lot of stairs to get in the front door and then a few more once inside. Not suitable if you have luggage. The wifi didn’t work at all on our room and couldn’t be resolved. It only worked near the reception desk upstairs.

A nice place to stay with very large room, comfortable beds, and amenities such as water, ice machine, coffee, and vending machine. Cozy rooms and walking distance to the Whitehouse.

Quite noisy early in the morning and late at night - can hear things in the corridor, and the doors do tend to slam shut, can also hear people at the hotel/joint next door.

Amazing location - easily accessible to main attractions by bus/train nearby, felt safe. Was a lot cleaner than expected, had all the basics, nice bathroom with good shower water, good A/C unit, lots of power sockets including at the bedside tables.

No safe in the room or in reception - I always like to lock my passport away when I’m travelling if I’m not using it so this was a bit inconvenient. I also had a problem with the Wi-Fi but I think this was to do with the security settings of the routers. However, I don’t have any real evidence of that, just that I had issue accessing certain apps on my phone like booking.com but using a browser was absolutely fine.

It was in a very good location, a pleasant walk to the sights or to the fun around Logan circle. Neighbourhood was quiet after dark and early in the morning. Room was basic but functional and the shower was of high pressure. The air con worked a treat. Also the various staff I spoke with were quite helpful when I needed information.
