How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

We were really pleased with our stay.
The 2 Double Bed Suite had a really cute separate sitting room that was great when one family member wanted to go to bed before the rest of us. Indoor pool was perfect since half our stay was rainy. Hotel wasn't huge (only about four floors) so it was easy to get in and out, up to the pool, etc. Location was very convenient to ocean, boardwalk and Rehoboth Avenue shops and restaurants. There's a fridge and microwave for leftovers, and we made brought microwave popcorn for a family movie night after the beach and dinner. We had a great stay!

Everything was great!
The location was perfect! The beach was a block and a half away. Everything you need is walkable with plenty of shops and restaurants. I have been coming to Rehoboth Beach for 33 years but have not stayed at Brighton Suites before. I will definitely be back.

Being within walking distance of the beach is a plus. The rooms are clean; the staff is friendly. Happy to have a parking space and not have to worry about the car being on the street. Food is nearby. It's a good place to stay as a couple or family.

Breakfast is not offered at this hotel. Sammy's next door, is a place for breakfast, but our food was cold. Did not go back. Would be nice if they offered a % off your meal if you go to Sam's.
The location was great. One block to the beach. Beach chairs and beach towels were offered. Had parking. Very clean and staff were great!

the mattresses were outdated and thin on the rollaway and the couch bed but the main beds were ok. The TV/wifi had some lag. the one elevator for the building could be slow with our kids waiting, had to plan for that
Close proximity and walking to the beach. They provide the chairs, and had some beach toys for the kids so even though we brought our own that was a nice feature. Also had a hose to wash off sand by the front of the hotel which was great to avoid bringing it all back into the room or your car.

Fablulous suites in a perfect location. Bright, clean and comfortable suite with excellent facilities. Underground parking was easy. Pleasant and friendly staff - an exceptional young man who was on a work abroad scheme (sorry didn't make a note of his name) helped us in on arrival, very informative and made us feel so welcome. Hotel supplied beach chairs and towels to take to the nearby beach. The hotel is also near to many restaurants within easy walking distance.Great stay.

The parking spaces were very tight. Every evening after dinner there was a vibration that shook the bed slightly a b d we noticed the wall vibrated as well. Thought it may be washing machine off balance. It would do it every evening for like 20 minutes. Did not keep us up at night.
The separate living and sleeping rooms and that we had 2 TV's.My husband and I differ greatly in what we watch in the evening. Was a wonderful surprise.

The hallways are ....DIFFERENT. The room/ furnishings show some wear and tear. The shower had some cracks and would not drain properly.
Our first visit here. The location is wonderful. The suite was a great value and very spacious. Plenty of storage space. The staff was friendly and accommodating.We had a problem with our shower, but someone promptly took care of it. The gentleman checking out the chairs/towels was very personable and helpful. We would definitely consider staying here again.

Pillows were too soft and bathroom was kinda small. The rest of the room was great.
Location was good. Only about a block and a half from the beach. Room was big enough to support time there. Good amenities.

When i booked the room the website showed that there was breakfast in the morning but when we got there the staff told us that they no longer did that.I was adding the breakfast cost into room charge but we had to spend extra to go out to breakfast.
The room was spacious and very clean and inviting.Deck was very nice.

We believe our credit card might have been hacked by a staff member. I received a fraud alert from my credit card company and all the fraud charges came while we were there and the charges were in your area.
