I didn't like that the television did not have great reception on several channels, although it was not such a big deal. There was an abandoned motel across the street, which was an eyesore, but I didn't feel unsafe. I didn't like that check-out was at 10am, and check-in was at 4pm, but I was able to check-in early since it was the off-season, and the motel was not full. The lighting could have been better. The room was a bit dim. Also, a full-length mirror and luggage rack would have been helpful.

I liked that the room was neat, clean, and had a small dining table with 2 chairs, a mini fridge, and a microwave. I liked that I was able to check-in early, and the staff was helpful and pleasant. I liked the motel's proximity to restaurants, Wildwood Boardwalk, and Cape May.

Some privacy sitting outside the room. Typical motel with guests walking back & forth but good that there was a staircase at both ends of Motel or there would have been more guests walking by our middle of the motel room.

Great location on the Wildwood Crest beach. Room & pool were clean. Good hot shower. Easy check in ( prepaid) & check out. Good size table for 4 w/ mini fridge/ freezer & microwave. Had a sleep sofa & also a loveseat for sitting.. 2 decks w/lounge chairs on 2nd floor to relax & get some sun. 2 chairs outside the room overlooking the pool. Good for me to watch family in pool. They have an elevator for all the luggage & beach gear! Parking was good especially if you got a spot near beach entrance to drop off beach stuff Would have liked one of their rooms w/ beach front view but they were sold-out. Traveled w/ adult daughter & 2 grandchildren. Kids were happy, too! And of course, Wildwood Boardwalk & rides were just a 10 minute drive to park near Morey's Pier ( edge of North Wildwood & Wildwood). Splash playground nearby. Great walking/ bike riding path parallel to ocean behind motel Our room was ready so we were able to check in early & go right to the beach!

Check in was quick and easy. Everyone on staff is very kind and smiling. The salt water heated pool was clean and large. Wonderful grilling area. Activities planned by resort and posted by office and elevator. Overall we are happy with our fun stay at Bristol Plaza Motel! Will rebook for next summer...if available. I imagine this place fills up quickly!

The building itself was older but I think that is true of nearly all of these beach hotels in Wildwood. The parking was very tight. The pool closed at 8pm; 9pm would have been preferable. Our two-room suite only had an air conditioner in the front living area; it would have been nice to at least have a fan to blow some colder air into the back room.

Location was fantastic, overlooking the dune grass and then the ocean beyond, but also far enough from the boardwalk to be quiet. Kids loved the ping pong table on the 2nd floor deck overlooking the dunes on one side and the pool on the other, and I appreciated the large patio tables there where we could sit out and play games; also the soft turf covering. The front desk staff was super nice, too. We really enjoyed the poolside steelpan player on Tuesday afternoon and the DJ on Wednesday afternoon. We stayed in two rooms, and both appeared recently furnished and well-maintained.

The only thing I did not like was that the back room with the double beds did not have AC. I thought it would be a problem because I also like it cold when I sleep, but the ceiling fan helped! I felt bad for the kids because the AC was on high to reach our room but they did not complain.

As yearly Wildwood vacationers, we usually drive around early morning looking for a vacancy. This trip we needed the 4 rooms because the whole family came. We loved the Bristol Plaza Motel! Most motels are not undated and have the same decor/bedding/tile from the 70s. Bristol did a nice job updating the rooms. The beds were comfortable, pull out couch was easy! I’m a light sleeper and can never sleep due to noise but this was one the quietest motels. The room was very clean, pool was extremely clean, and they had daily activities like a steel drum band or character drawing person. It was a nice touch! They also have an elevator, which believe it or not a lot of motels do not have. Being on the 4th floor made it very easy to haul our luggage to the room. They had staff walking around, even at night which made us feel safe. One of the reasons we love Wildwood is the emphasis on family, having little ones you don’t want loud music late at night or kids running around after 10pm. There was none of that here.

No AC in the bedroom, it can get hot at night. Limited to no dining options within walking distance. Wildwood & Wildwood Crest have a marijuana problem, unfortunately the motels/hotels suffer from that. Bristol Plaza Motel has a non-smoking policy but you can still smell it in common area from the guest attending property. I also suspect that one family attended the free activities and used the pool although they weren't guest of the hotel.

Staff attention to detail and friendliness, from your individual room to common area every inch of this property is very clean. The rooms have been remodeled with care and taste. There are free daily entertainment activities which the kids loved (magic show, caricature drawing, etc). The location is great, right on the beach and there are many family activities within 5 min walking distance (playground, art center, water splash playground).
