location is great.. when there isnt construction right out front. good value considering the location. character cute. nice pool! the taco place next door makes it all worth while! plus your only sleeping in the room right ???

Where to start ... I am not much of a complainer but the first room my husband and I were assigned too was disgusting. It looked like somewhere that you would pay by the hour. The room was in the back corner of the building. The only light coming in was from the bathroom and it was quite warm. There was a mini fridge on the floor and no dresser. The bed looked like it was prison style, made of metal and creaky as hell. They had 2 matching bed side tables that were small and old. The only other furniture in the room was a beat up wooden table that was in the shape of a small ironing board and 1 dining room chair. I couldn't stay in that room and went to the front desk. Richie was at the desk and was understanding and quickly worked on getting us a new room. This room was in their second building. When we walked by the building for the first time, my husband and I thought it was abandoned. This building required a code to enter the lobby since it wasn't staffed. We were told the elevator is out of service (which was fine. The first building had an elevator that was so slow, a man with a prosthetic leg, walked up and down the stairs). We were told we will have a balcony with beautiful views. After walking into the building, the first thing I noticed were the pink stained carpets and lack of people. When we got into our room, I was impressed with the size of this one. The room was also cooler and brighter. The balcony door was to the right. The floors were laminate wood and had staining by the bathroom doorway and where the balcony door was. I couldn't get the balcony door open. It was unlocked, but it was jammed shut. My husband was able to shoulder check it a few times to get it open. The view when you walked out was of the building next door and their roof. Between the buildings was construction debris. If you looked over to the ocean side, you could see the water and sunrise over the construction zone.

The hotel is beach front, but the area in front of the hotel is currently under construction. The staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating.

There is a very weird smell in the room. Only two towels for the family of 4. No kettle in the room :( There was no safe box earlier

Besides that we couldn't get our room cleaned, there was a lot of construction going on outside the hotel, but even worse we would have to pass by a large alleyway where the dumpsters were to get to the front entrance of the hotel every time, which ofcourse smelled and were home to critters, and it was also a big eye sore...not something I was expecting. Additionally, we had to stay in front of the hotel where the construction was happening in the background in order to get chairs. It was loud and we had to walk further to come back around in front of the beach (after having passed all the construction).

The location near the beach, parking and near restaurants. The room was comfortable, but wished it was cleaned at least once when we requested it. Instead , we were told that it is only cleaned after 3 days, which was basically the length of our stay.

They had roaches in some rooms, also their elevator was not working which was terrible because we had to take several flights of stairs . I think they need to do renovations that way they can stay in business.

They failed to disclose the construction around the property. The room was like a hostel. AC did not function, no phone in room and minimal restaurant options.

The staff were super friendly.

Poor standard of maintenance. There is an issue with the air conditioning - both my husband and I suffered feverishness, chesty coughs, headaches and runny noses on the day we left - a medical expert has suggested this is caused by the old air conditioning system. I have messaged the hotel to advise them to have the units serviced.

It’s location opposite the beach is great and the free sun beds were a bonus. The bed was comfy and sheets and towels were clean. The lobby was welcoming and clean and the staff were very attentive, cheery and helpful. However, they are let down by the maintenance of the building which is shoddy - the carpets are in desperate need of a hoover and shampoo.

The vagabonds, people roaming around the property on front porch needs to be better controlled. Slow Elevator horrible, ruined the trip. No daily housekeeping in room, very disappointing. Rooms could use an update.

Good location, nice size room & layout Staff tried their best. Facilities were kept clean. Excellent oceanfront but Windows facing oceanfront rather small, can’t make the most of the view.
