This was an exceptional place with harbor views from every room. You could not hear anyone outside of the room. The breakfast was the best I have had with fresh fruit and a beautiful view. 😍!

I did have trouble getting the shower to stop dripping. Other than that - no problems at all!!

I went away for a little R&R and that’s exactly what I got!! The view was beautiful, the people were friendly, and the room was so clean and comfortable. I will definitely be back in the future!

This is true of ALL hotels. The pillows are way too large!

The view was lovely, the room was spacious, and the homemade muffins at breakfast were excellent. The room (former restaurant) where breakfast is served is full of interesting paintings and replicas of ships, almost like a mini museum.

The person who had the room overhead kept walking back and forth, noise which we could hear, disturbing us.

The breakfast room was outstanding! The bedroom we had faced the water and had a balcony - what a beautiful view. The staff was so kind and responsive

The weather was rainy and foggy but I'm sure if the staff could have changed that, they would have, with a smile.

Clean and comfortable. Great location, right on the water. Friendly, professional staff from the front desk to housekeeping to the kind gentleman on the dock who explained about the fish in the area. Lots of parking, too.

The hotel isn't very far from a great lobster shack - but they had live music both nights that went until 9:30 or 10 and was quite audible in our room even with the balcony door closed.

Room had a small balcony that allowed us to have some fresh air in the room, which always helps with sleeping. Otherwise a fairly standard hotel room. Their restaurant was closed for the season, but they were providing a continental breakfast that was basic.

The room was clean & pleasant. It appears every room has a waterfront balcony overlooking a marina. The continental breakfast was awesome.

The only improvement that you could make would be in the bathroom area. We felt that there need to be more bars for the hand towels and wash cloths! Also a container of some sort for hand soap!

bed was pretty comfortable, but the bottom sheet kept coming off the matrice. Bathrooms were quite small but it an older hotel

There was a light from the walkway that shined into the room at night. It wasn't a huge nuisance, but could be annoying for anyone who likes a very dark room. Also our neighbors' shower was loud and woke us up early.

The only drawback was the inability for full restaurant dining which management is very clear about explaining. Hopefully this will be resolved in 2024…but it should not be a hindrance to such an enjoyable venue!

Brown’s Wharf Inn and Marina is a historic gem. It is idyllic in its setting on Boothbay Harbor. You can sit on the deck or balconies and relax watching the activity of the harbor (lobster boats, tourist boats or private boats from sailboats to yachts). We have been coming here for several years and find the hotel, staff and ambiance second to none. The only downside due to the Covid restrictions and lack of help has caused management to be unable to open the restaurant for full service breakfast and dinner, BUT there is a fine self serve breakfast buffet. We understand that the restaurant will be open in 2024. This is a true honest New England treasure…you will be well pleased with your stay!
