How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

The paint color was so dark, it made the room very depressing. The 10” dark brown painted border at the top made it worse, felt like a cave.
Breakfast was very good. Pretty much what we found at other places we stayed. Clerk/manager was very pleasant, very helpful.everyone we encountered was very pleasant. Bed was very comfortable. Most important.

A dusty room with several broken items. Pretty noisy. The place really needs a refurbishment
Quite a good location; somewhere in-between Grand Canyon North Rim, Bryce Canyon and Zion Canyon. One staff member extremely helpful

AC was in bad condition and the room can be cleaner.. Also walls was thin. Heard everything from the neighbor..

There was no inside lock on our door, like a chain lock or whatever, which made my female-only group a little uneasy. Kanab is a pretty safe place, so we knew it was probably just fine but the peace of mind would have been nice. Also, the room felt teeny-tiny. The TV was mounted up on one side and a mini fridge was just kind of standing there on the other side. Also, the bathroom door's lock was completely ineffective. You could slide the door open and closed whether locked or unlocked. I also didn't really love the location. It felt pretty far from most things, so you should plan on driving back into Kanab to walk around the town if that's your thing.
This was a place to crash. I thought all the separate buildings were kind of interesting. I really liked talking to the staff. Breakfast was okay if you're big into all the normal breakfast carb-heavy options. It's a motel, place to sleep and shower and stuff. There was no bathtub in our room, just a walk-in shower. Also, the closet area had an extra chair and was part of the bathroom? Which was really weird. I didn't like it, I didn't dislike it, but it was a sort of odd feature to the room. If you put your bags in that space to free up room in the small sleeping area, then hope you don't need anything out of there while someone in your crew is going number 2 or something.

Just dated but clean w micro, refer, coffee and waffles n such for brekky. Great value if u dont need the fluff. Parking close to room too. One story makes it easy
Been before. Econo but clean n quiet. Nice bed n pillows, across from Escobar mexican and walk easy to downtown For the money , its not a Hilton but a nice clean one story budget motel. Leave the staff a tip; they work hard. Will use again

Again, parking sucks. If they could somehow, (not sure how exactly.) they could fix that then they’d be perfect.
The overall hotel is clean, the outside looks clean too. The rooms are small but the bathroom was surprisingly big! Very nice. The tvs weren’t great, but all in all for just an overnight stay this place isn’t bad. HOWEVER, they have crap parking. Especially for trucks w or w/o trailers. We had to park our gooseneck across the street in the restaurants gravel lot and we had to leave early due to that.

Beds were not good for two person sleeping two persons together. Breakfast: not a real maple jus, but some cheap variant.
Breakfast: large choice of products - even possibility to make waffles. Large parking.

The carpets are old and the card stopped working immediately even before checkout. The breakfast area was closed 15-20 mnts earlier than the end of stipulation time.

There is always that odd smell as in all the motels around the country.
Very comprehensive about our very late check in time, they found a solution for us to be able to get to our room after lobby closing time. Beds and pillows were really comfy.
