Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesThe view from our room was ugly for such a pretty area (we were in the main lodge). The information desk (?) wasn't very friendly. We felt like we were putting them out by asking where the shuttle stop was. Maybe they were only there to book tours or something? The main desk was too busy to help, otherwise we would have asked there. I understand busy, but maybe adding a (friendly) person just to give guests information would be worthwhile and add to the experience.
Everything you need is right in the hotel area! Groceries, souvenirs, a restaurant with good food AND good service! You could get a shuttle to Bryce canyon right in front of the hotel, very convenient! We would absolutely stay there again. The (free!) breakfast buffet was enormous! So many types of food to choose from, best breakfast ever! The rooms were generous with towels, daily maid service (a thing that's been hit or miss since Covid).

SingaporeThe ventilator in the bathroom was extremely noisy.
Very near to Bryce Canyon NP. Huge complex with a lot of amenities. Pricey though as the rooms were common, nothing special.

SwitzerlandBreakfast is with a lot of choice, but quality is rather poor. Rooms are old and you hear the neighbours and above all when they are showering or flushing the toilet (very loud).
Location is good, just in front of National Park. A la carte good was really delicious!

SingaporeCounter staff were not helpful nor friendly. Simply completed the registration. Everyone approached during the stay had same attitude. Limited food choices nearby. Need to drive to town for more choices.
Location is good. Short drive into the park. Parking infront of room.

NetherlandsUnfortunately the beds were very uncomfortable.
Great option if you're looking for a place to stay in Bryce. The entrance is literally 3 minutes from the Inn. The rooms are clean and spacious and we really loved the ambiance in the lobby and restaurant. Dinner and breakfast were actually pretty good. Yes it's buffet style, so know what to expect, but definitely okay! The Inn is huge though, so don't expect a lot of personal interaction and warmth.

United StatesThe location of one of the EV chargers was incorrect on the map. But the biggest improvement could come with improvements in the facility. In our room, the toilet was very noisy when flushed and the wood was rotting underneath the tub, causing very loud creeking sound throughout the room. A bit more insulation between rooms would also be warranted. Every toilet flush and shower could be heard in the adjoining rooms. Though the staff was very friendly in the restaurant, a piece of fish was somehow embedded in my son's brisket sandwich and my wife's asparagus fell to the table during serving and they didn't offer to replace it. They also were out of three items that my son wanted to order one evening - a Stella beer (two nights in a row) baby - back ribs and the half chicken. That was disappointing.
The breakfast was wonderful and was a nice perk during our stay. The food was excellent and the staff was very efficient and friendly. The location was also very good - handy to the park and the parking area was large enough to accommodate large vehicles, like buses, without problems.

United StatesWith the rooms being older, we could hear every step the people above us took. Next time I would ask for an upstairs room!
The location was wonderful and so conveniently located near the park. The restaurant was great. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast and even went back to enjoy an evening meal.

United KingdomNot sure if it's got something to do with the licensing laws in Utah but the hotel could have had a bar.
Firstly the location for accessing Bryce Canyon was excellent! Our room was large, clean and had everything we needed. There was free wifi in the room and a handy fridge. The hotel had a great supermarket, gift shop and hotel lobby. There was no bar but we could grab a beer from the shop and sit in the comfy sofas in the lobby and chill out. The hotel had a restaurant inside and a diner next door. The breakfast buffet was great with loads of options to choose from. There was an indoor pool that we didn't use but looked great.

United StatesThe room we stayed in on the Ponderosa section of the property needs a ventilator in the restroom. The moisture leftover from the shower lingers in the bedroom when you enter.

United KingdomThe only recreational area was either the indoor pool which was very crowded, or the area outside the store which was also very busy.
The hotel was extremely convenient to the park. Breakfast was good, especially considering the number of people they cater for. The soup and salad option for dinner was incredibly good value.

New ZealandBeing from NZ we are not used to all the plastic and wastage used at the breakfasts so it would be good to see some compostable solutions introduced. That being said the breakfast set us up for the day.
The rooms were clean and we had everything we needed. We had dinner onsite and it was good food and value for money. We enjoyed the Store and being able to buy some lunch for our day out travelling.
