Hallways could have used some attention.

Lack of handicap parking. No bell staff to help with luggage Needed more staff at check in, once we were called they were very helpful. The beds were lumpy and hard to get a good nites sleep. The only open restaurant needed more staff, the service was slow, but the staff was friendly and helpful and the food was ample and hot when served.

When I left to room to go check out, I realized that I had left my phone in the bathroom on a charger. The access card was in my phone, so I asked a housekeeper to let me in or just get my phone and charger for me. She informed me that she couldn't access the room and informed me that no one else had access. (How do they get in to clean the rooms?) I was able to find another person who in turn found a person who was willing and able to go in and retrieve my phone.

The beds were comfortable and the room was clean.

When we got up on Sunday morning to leave there was such an aroma of pot in our hallway it made me sick for most of the day. We know it's hard to control but that has been our one turn off to staying in places where smoking is allowed. Smoking is one thing but using a drug even for medical purposes is sometimes overboard.

We really enjoyed being close to a door and not having to walk all the way down the hallway or being stuck in a spot not convenient for entrance and exit.

Older spot at the Horseshu Hotel which was fine for our overnighter on a road trip. Room was spacious and quiet. Good TV and Wifi. Casino across road had a nice restaurant.

Was not clear on the distance of room to casino. Thought it was attached to find out we had to drive from hotel to casino was disappointed. Wanted to be able to gamble and walk to room.

The Nosh was overrated and expensive. The pool was closed and the hot tub was less than appealing.

We enjoyed being able to leave the hotel room and go eat/play. Our friends were camping so our kids were able to ride bikes for a bit.

Two things could have been better: 1) registration is across street, which was not made clear in advance. This caused waste of time since map app took us to sleeping building, but we had to get back in car and drive across street to register, then back again to load into room, and 2) sleeping building seemed a bit run down; concrete sloughing-off steps and walks, paint chipping. Breakfast served in building across street.

Room was fresh and clean. No smoke odor; a non-smoking building. Everything worked. The room seemed to have been refreshed, recently. Newer paint and carpet.

We have stayed here quite a few times on our way back from Arizona. Each year it gets worse. Doesn't seem like any money is being put into the place. The carpet floor was not very clean. There aren't very many choices in this small town. Next year we will probably stay at the hotel/casino across the street (still Cactus Pete's).

The price was pretty good for what it was. Would have been nice to have breakfast but....dinner across the street at the hotel was very good.

The bathroom sink faucet did not work very well and it did not have any hot water coming out of it. I think it just needs to be replaced.

The Horseshu side desperately needs updating. No channel list in the room so had to create my own only to realize the channels provided were not a good selection and no movie channels available. More food options during the day would be nice. A grab and go or premade sandwiches and snacks. No wifi at the horseshu. More tables and less slots. lots of waiting for a seat at crowded tables while slots sat vacant.

travel distance. price was reasonable. Friendly staff and quick waitresses on the casino floor. Maybe $5 tables in the afternoons could be made available. All the dealers I interacted with were great.

Dining options limited in Jackpot. The casino is old and the cigarette smoke awful, you could even smell it in your non-smoking room.
