Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.
These guidelines and standards aim to keep the content on Booking.com relevant and family-friendly without limiting expression of strong opinions. They are also applicable regardless of the sentiment of the comment.
Contributions should be travel related. The most helpful contributions are detailed and help others make better decisions. Please don’t include personal, political, ethical, or religious commentary. Promotional content will be removed and issues concerning Booking.com’s services should be routed to our Customer Service or Accommodation Service teams.
Contributions should be appropriate for a global audience. Please avoid using profanity or attempts to approximate profanity with creative spelling, in any language. Comments and media that include 'hate speech', discriminatory remarks, threats, sexually explicit remarks, violence, and the promotion of illegal activity are not permitted.
All content should be genuine and unique to the guest. Reviews are most valuable when they are original and unbiased. Your contribution should be yours. Booking.com property partners should not post on behalf of guests or offer incentives in exchange for reviews. Attempts to bring down the rating of a competitor by submitting a negative review will not be tolerated.
Respect the privacy of others. Booking.com will make an effort to obscure email addresses, telephone numbers, website addresses, social media accounts, and similar details.
The opinions expressed in contributions are those of Booking.com customers and properties and not of Booking.com. Booking.com does not accept responsibility or liability for any reviews or responses. Booking.com is a distributor (without any obligation to verify) and not a publisher of these comments and responses.
By default, reviews are sorted based on the date of the review and on additional criteria to display the most relevant reviews, including but not limited to: your language, reviews with text, and non-anonymous reviews. Additional sorting options may be available (by type of traveller, by score, etc.).

United StatesWhat I didn't care for was that our room window faced a wall and ally. I had asked for a private bathroom, but the sink was in the bedroom that I didn't care so much for. Next time I will ask for a room with a private bathroom and that faces the street.
Being our first time staying there, it was nice. You could walk everywhere you needed to go, whether it was shopping or getting something to eat. It's a cute little town. I liked that on the floor we were staying on. There was a little bistro that I could hang out in when my husband was taking a nap. Even though there were a few things that I would like to have changed. We would definitely come back and stay. I posted lots of pictures of our weekend stay on my FB page.

United StatesNothing - everything was great!
We had to reserve this room for the extra family that was in town visiting. Honestly, I was almost tempted to swap and let them stay at my place and I would stay at the hotel. The only thing that kept me from it was that my knees and back are shot - so the fairly steep stairs and the room being on the 3rd floor - I would not risk it personally. If it was the 2nd floor.... I would have kicked out my nephew. He was hesitant about the shared bathroom - but he said it was perfect especially since he had a sink to get ready in his room. Everything was so neat and well-designed. He said that the bed was fantastic. I personally loved the front staff who was extremely helpful and friendly. I will absolutely be sending family and friends to stay and I will absolutely be arranging for a little getaway with the room with the deep tub bathroom!! :) Oh and the breakfast add-on and location CANNOT BE BEAT!!!

United StatesNo hot water in one of the showers (the closest one). The room was very small. And the keurig was broken.
Breakfast at Natalia’s Cafe was excellent. The bed was comfy and the hotel is charming and filled with history.

United StatesVery cute European style hotel. The shared bathroom was just across the hall from our room. Wish we had more time to explore the little town it was in, but served its purpose and close proximity to Portland airport, although it's in Washington state across the river.

United StatesBed was very hard and A/C was cold but didn’t prevent the room from being stuffy. Also, our room was quite small. Fine for one night, but wouldn’t want to stay much longer.
Adorable boutique hotel in a great location in downtown Camas.

United StatesSharing bathrooms would be okay if I was sure they cleaned them every night, and the shower head was leaking water, so it didn't have a lot of pressure. The room had a smell, im thinking it was the ac filter or the carpets, but it was pretty bothersome, and it just felt stuffy. Since it had a window AC, I couldn't air the room out. Also the ac unit was very loud and just got louder the longer it was on but without it the room felt humid. It may have been an older one because the one in my parents' room wasn't as loud. Do feel like for all the little flaws and nuisances that at very least breakfast should be free for the shared bathroom rooms that would have made it a little better.
I like the antique feel and look of the hotel and the coffee provided. The rooms are decent size, and the beds were comfortable.

Israelno elevator . there is no promised parking next to the hotel, which is written about in the booking. the air conditioning is so loud that it interferes with sleep at night, this is a very important point. we were three person in a room , when the sofa was disassembled, there was no space left in the room at all. And you can hear everything behind the wall in the room , this is an old building
clean room, clean bathroom. excellent breakfast in a cafe near the hotel

United StatesI could not sleep past 330 am much as they turn the A/C off at night and there is no ceiling fan, so I was very hot. I did not open the window as I did not want the street noise. You do have to carry your luggage up to 2 or 3 rd floors, because no elevator. The parking lot is gone, but you can find parking on the street.
the quaintness of the place, perfect location in town, friendly, room amenities. Also nice to have the atrium on second floor to sit together in.

United StatesThe stairs are ok for most people, but wouldn't be able to travel here with my elderly Mom because of the stairs.
Legit European-style boarding house. Private bathroom was spotless and the bed was very comfy. Check in was easy and the front of house desk manager was helpful, friendly, and patient. Great location in the heart of a quaint Camas neighborhood and shopping district. Close to great natural areas. I appreciate the variety of room choices for varying budgets.

United StatesIf I’m forced to find fault, whoever put the toilet paper on the holders put it on so it unrolls from the back. The original patent for toilet paper shows it is supposed to unroll from the front of the roll. There was only a single chair for sitting in the room.
This was my second stay at the Camas Boutique Hotel. For anyone familiar with a renovated vintage Hotel property, or have traveled to properties in Europe, you will be familiar with the concept and pleasure associated with the Camas Boutique Hotel. We stayed on the third floor and enjoyed our room. A tiny bit small, but functional. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. The in-wall air conditioner worked well and was quiet. The room had newer furnishings and modern conveniences, such as a TV, mini refrigerator and Keurig single pod coffee maker. The shared floor bathrooms (two on our floor) were clean and always available. The town of Camas quiets down quickly at night and is far from the freeway. Talk about a good night sleep!

United StatesNo designated parking, parking is on the street. While we didn't have an issue finding a parking spot, during busy times, it could be an issue.
Good location, this is an older hotel on the main street, the upkeep is good. It's a little like stepping back in time, cute little lobby, narrow staircases, fun experience. We were given complimentary bottles of Rose, which was a nice touch.

United StatesThe rooms are very small. I can say they're functional, but that's it. The bed is not quite a queen. More like full size. There is no elevator, which is fine for me, but this is a big problem for some. Keep this in mind if you carry large luggage and lack mobility/strength. For some reason, the area my room was in smelled overwhelmingly of cheese. And I think the heater kicked up a lot of dust too. My allergies suffered. Lastly, my daughter said she smelled cat urine. I didn't detect that, but this hotel does allow pets.
The staff here are exceptionally helpful and kind. The building has an old charm. There is an atrium break room on the second floor. Very cute.

United StatesIt took a little longer for the shower (on third floor) to get above warmish - felt like I was wasting water hoping it would get warmer - then suddenly the hot reached the tap - success!
The location was ideal for a solo female traveling on a budget. The staff was incredibly friendly and helped me plan my stay. My room was immaculate and beds were so soft. Right down to the variety of pillows to choose. Felt like Goldilocks, nice touch!
