The floors of the lobby need to be swept and mopped. The salt thrown on the sidewalks is hard on any floor. However, it needed some TLC. My shower/toilet room in my guest room. Had some roughly patched spots. I thought it was odd because the front desk had mentioned my moving into a “new” king room..

The bed and pillows were super comfortable. An awesome sounding breakfast is available 6-10. I over slept and missed it though. The location of the property made it easy to park and walk. Plans had changed and they made it easy to switch from 2 beds to one king bed.

The rooms were clean but the floors were not. Our feet were black from just walking from the bathroom to the bed. Like they have not been mopped in a while.

Trains blowing horns every 4 hours

They had a laundry room with a coin operated machines. No change machine and the person at the desk had no coins either. She told us to go to the grocery store to get change. Very poor management.

The staff were very helpful. The location of the hotel isn't the best since I heard the trains throughout the night. And the design of the hotel is a little odd, since I had to go out then in then out again to get to my room. The room was average and for a one night stay just fine. Dated.

No coffee in the rooms. We were told there would be breakfast but there wasn’t any. Squeaky bed. Very basic and only moderately tidy and comfortable.

During the checkin, front desk didn’t find my name and demanded confirmarion number, but it was her mistake. They should try to make customers comfortable. Also room is noisy by train horn at night.

Right next to train track. Trains blow whistle regularly throughout the night as they pass less than 50 yards from rooms.

Easy access to freeway. One of the lowest prices in Missoula.

room smelled like a wet dog and the AC didn’t get as cool as we liked until morning- it did work but just not that well so it was a warm uncomfortable sleep.

Where to start... The hotel is a bit rundown and appears to be a entrance to the foot path that runs along the railroad tracks. The rail runs next to the building and its BUSY. If you are on the first floor cars park right up next to your window. The in room toilet is a round bowl...haven't seen many of those in years LOL. It's because the bathroom on our king unit was TINY. The bathroom fans bearing is about gone as well so no one will hear you singing in the shower. ( I should have added this to the likes column!) The AC unit is a window/wall unit that is EXTREMELY noisy and clanks between cycles. This wakes you just in time to hear the next train, although occasionally makes you forget about the train! Finally, the breakfast. Frozen croissant sausage sandwich but don't run the microwave and toaster at the same time the sign says.. so negotiating with other guests is necessary. Same with the empty juice machine with another sign. Coffee was 3/10 and they cut regular size muffins in half and repackaged with plastic wrap. Why bother?!! The good news is that if you get grossed out you can eat next door at McDonald's (well maybe not good news!)

The bed was comfortable. The room was partially updated and was better looking than the hotels outside or hallway for that matter.

They were the worst beds. I hurt all day after staying there. My sleep is the most important thing at any motel I stay at next to cleanliness. I would never recommend this one. Very disappointing compared to other days inns that I've stayed in.
