Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

United StatesOur room was in the front of the hotel, so we had to hear the noisy highway all night. If you stay here we recommend staying at the back of the hotel. Our third floor hallway didn’t smell great like the lobby.
Room was large, separate sleeping areas. Kitchenette was very cost effective for our 4 night stay. Free laundry facilities (just bring soap). Everything was really clean.

It was nice and quiet. The staff was very friendly. The workout room was exceptionally clean as was the room. I actually chose it originally because of the $10 pet fee. I am no longer going to stay in hotels with an absurd pet fee. Loved the fridge with an ice maker!!

Everyone, I mean every person, was friendly and awesome. Front desk to driver, just good people. We picked the spot so that we could get their shuttle to the airport. Restaurant next door has a bar and GREAT food too!

The 1st time the housekeeper knocked , stating she was told by her supervisor that the room needed cleaning, that I was gonna be checking out , The next day there was no knocking , housekeeper open the door and barge in the room opening the door, while We were in the room …. No respect for privacy.

United StatesI didn't like the fact that all the money you pay and there was no free breakfast or a kitchen to offer a meal. Most hotels have a chef to cook a meal you can purchase or breakfast ready.The little room downstairs was too expensive. Remember when people are traveling things are already expensive so why not make it less stressful especially for families that travel and offer breakfast at your hotel. Holiday Inn was less expensive and had the same suite but had free breakfast. Also I shouldn't have to be turned away for towels at a hotel I'm staying at. Things like that should be well over stocked as much money as I payed, that was weird asking for a towel and being told wait till next morning when they can wash some more, like really.
The room was huge and comfortable, and we liked the mini kitchen.

United StatesKey card machine wasn’t working when we arrived so sometime had to let us into our room several times. They finally got it working that evening and all was good. Pool area is only open 10am to 10pm. Would have been nice to have coffee by the pool.
Front desk folks were super nice and helpful. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Super comfy bed. Restaurant next door was very good and convenient. Good value for the price.

United StatesOur room was clean, but the property wasn’t consistently clean. One time we came back from dinner and the first floor had some putrid smell. We were staying on the 3rd floor so by the time we got to the elevator we couldn’t smell it. Another time there were dirty, gross hand prints dragged down the front of the elevator door that wasn’t cleaned until the next day. Also someone left a bag of trash by the elevator door as well on our floor that wasn’t picked up until later that evening. Another time food was left out just laying in the hallway. No plate or container. Just food tossed across the carpet on the 3rd floor. I don’t know what guests were staying there but they weren’t respectful of the property.
The staff was really friendly. Our room was spacious and clean. It was really quiet. Our room stayed nice and cold in the Texas heat. The location was never too far from anywhere we wanted to visit. It was also easily accessible with parking always available.
