How guest reviews work
Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. In addition, guests can give separate ‘subscores’ in crucial areas, such as location, cleanliness, staff, comfort, facilities, value for money and free Wi-Fi. Note that guests submit their subscores and their overall scores independently, so there’s no direct link between them.
You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive information (e.g. emails, phone numbers or credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (e.g. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out, and we may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old – or if the Accommodation has a change of ownership.
An Accommodation may choose to reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

It’s not a big deal but I did feel like the air conditioner/heater was quite loud. We got about 4 inches of snow our first morning there. Unfortunately the parking lot wasn’t plowed until about 12:30 in the afternoon. That probably isn’t the fault of the hotel but it did make getting out of the parking lot difficult.
The location was perfect. We were centrally located by so many things.

Water pressure in the shower was terrible. We could hear noise from the room above us. There was no suitcase rack in the closet. It would have been nice to have a hot tub available, even if no pool, and a continental breakfast option. The hotel couldn't locate a wine opener for us.
The bed was pretty comfortable, nice sized room with decent kitchen facilities and a nice long desk/counter. Staff was friendly, parking was convenient, location was great for what we wanted. The workout room was nice, and convenient.

I would have to say there wasnt much that I didnt like about my stay here or the hotel in general.
For the price, the hotel was fantastic. Nice clean rooms. Staff was friendly. Air conditioning was flawless. No issues. Much better than the Staybridge which is next door. In a good area with lots of things close by

Worst thing was that we booked a "queen" room and it had a full size bed in it. That was really dissapointing. Never seen a hotel room with a bed that small anyway.... it was a rough two nights and we were sore in they morning. Not a fan of the comforter inside the duvet. The comforter doesn't stay put inside it so most the night you're fighting with it.
Clean. Awesome bathroom. My favorite products. Very comfortable And decent decor. The staff was friendly. The locker was really cool and the little convenience store was very useful.

We had 3 in our room but there was only 2 of everything in the kitchen -- plates, glasses, silverware, etc. There was no pool or breakfast service.
The location was good -- easy to get to restaurants and shopping. The staff was helpful.

Breakfast would be a nice addition. We drove around trying to find somewhere to have breakfast and everything was a long wait.
The suite was clean. it was roomy enough to be comfortable. The separate bedroom had a door so you didn’t hear any outside noise from the hall.

My room, 113, was noisy as hell, for me. Patio several yards from my (closed) window had chatty people on it until midnight - surprising on a Tuesday night. Then at around 4:00am the next morning there was banging and walking around that went on for at least a half hour. Did not sound like just someone's room. Had to be the hotel. I asked about it in the morning and the very nice woman at the desk had no idea.
The Grape Life is a really great wine bar about 10 minutes away. Super couple running it. Surprise find. But if you want variously named, Mexican-themed restaurants, you easily can walk.

We needed a later check out time and they only could do 12 noon.

I filtered search results for PET FRIENDLY hotels, brought my cat in with me when I checked in, was told nothing about a pet fee, and upon checkout I was charged extra because my cat was not allowed?? Please let me know who I can contact about this issue, I will be pursuing this further.
I’ve only liked other candlewood suites locations besides this one.
