    the little kitchen was not clean and there was no sponge in the room for dishes and a real coffee pot would be good.

    I didn't like getting lied to several times about the pool accommodation. The pool was completely closed due to needing repairs. Understandable. The issue came when I booked a room I asked if the pool was open. I was told yes. I get to the property. the pool is closed. So I decided to go to the front desk immediately... I was giving the run around basically ‼️ It was a booking for two days. Traveling with a kid and snowing. So long story short 3 front desk people and 8 hours later. I was basically forced to book a hotel that I thought would have the accommodations aligned with my booking. And by the way my room was literally located right next to the pool. That made it worse.. I wouldn't have booked at this location if I knew the pool was closed. And as far as the convenient store it was damn near empty.

    I loved the location and atmosphere of the hotel.

    only the treadmill equipment worked in the gym as the bike and elliptical were not working properly. the room itself didn’t appear cleaned thourougly as there was urine splashed on the base of the toilet, marks on walls and surfaces with stains. the A/C unit did not function properly and I listened to it click on and off all night..

    the staff were very helpful and friendly. the bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was convenient.

    The property needs to be cleaned and updated. There was cracks in the walls and ceiling, the bathrooms were not clean and definitely needs new paint. The carpet is filthy, in the room and hallways too. Even though this is a “smoke free” hotel, our room definitely had smokers in it prior. You can smell people smoking inside their rooms as you walk down the halls.

    If you’re looking for a place to stay that isn’t next to, but a short drive to Herseypark, then this is the place for you. The staff is very friendly and will try to accommodate you as best as they can.

    I got this hotel because of location and the fact that it had a pool to find out when we arrived the pool was out of order with no email or call to let me know ahead of time. When I asked at checkout for a partial refund she told me that they dont issue refunds because it was on there website. I told her I went through booking.com she proceeded to tell me that they can't advertise that they didn't have a pool ready on the third party sites and I should have went on there website to check which is not very good customer service.

    The water pressure was amazing and the room size was perfect

    The TV didn't work in the room and we never got a credit for it and we asked about it when we checked out they said the manager would be back the next day no one never called us or gave a discount for the TV not working we paid over $300 for our stay

    We didn’t get to stay here. This was the second time that they moved us to another hotel without any advance notice. We purposely booked this hotel so that we could make our own meals and not have to go for every meal. We also wanted the I door pool. A phone call or email ahead of time would have helped a little. The hotel they moved us to was nice ( definitely more comfortable), but we c oh hadn’t make any of the food we brought with us and had to go out to eat, which cost us more money and time. They said they would pay for one night and the hotel they moved us to, but I was charged for both nights! And this was the second time they did this. We definitely won’t give them another chance!

    Pamela advised me of 250 per room incidental fee since I'm local she advised me she would wave it just have bookings contact her I was charged I call I get the manager her attitude was sorry you didn't cancel within 24 hours so we charging you anyway and Pamela doesn't have authority to waive charges she didn't give me her name she probably knew I was gonna write a review anyway no more candlewood for me at least not the one on portview 250 incidental fee is ridiculous especially I wasn't advised then u still wanna charge me for staying when you never mentioned the extra charge and it's more then the room rental

    I've been to candlewood before the one on mountain rd is the better one Pamela I spoke to and was great nice attitude

    Hotel is on the total outskirts. It is lost in the middle of nowhere. The nearest food is on gasstation Turkey Hill 3 min by car. taff was not helpful to switch off noisy aircondition. They found a way how to adjust the sound of TV when your remote control is not working. You get another remote control to do it, so you have two devices for one TV. Generaly not too clean bathroom. Some hooks not fixed well. There was rust on metalparts.

    There is a microvawe in the room. There is coffemaker with one normal and one cofeinfree sack to make coffe. There is a cooker and ome dishes.

    We didn’t stay here. We showed up, the man working the desk had a bad attitude. He eventually found our reservation but then couldn’t actually book the room for us and we were then tossed back out onto the street at 2am after having traveled for 8 hours to there. I don’t know why I would still be receiving review request when we never got to stay here. It was a very bad experience. But great job to the hotel who managed to squeeze us in in the early hours of the morning after this. 10/10 for them.

    Tiny room was not a suite, not prepared, bathroom was not clean, single bed for two adult male guests - DISGUSTING We did not stay at this place -it was disgusting!

    NOTHING - the entire experience was bad. We never took posession of the room, walked out and syated at a differnt hotel. The staff was absolutely unhelpful and I am pretty sure I heard a racist comment from the man at the desk.

    Hotel is tired and badly in need of deep cleaning and redecorating. It is not priced to reflect its poor state.

    The icemaker was loud at times. But there's nothing you can do about that.
