• The property is badly neglected, appears it's being left to slowly unravel, apparent in almost any detail one looks at. • Rooms are dark, with bad and ugly lighting. • Carpet seems filthy, or at least very tired, did not want to be barefoot on it. • No screens on the single pane windows. • The TV channels line-up is bad, as inexpensive as they could make it. One movie channel would be a smart upgrade. • Wi-fi is weak. • MOST SIGNIFICANT CRITICISM: Shower water did not get hot, and the shower nozzle was meant to restrict water to the maximum and so the stream only a sort of harsh, fuzzy spray. Even in a cheap motel, the bed and the shower have got to be good. The rest I can deal with, but not a tepid shower.

• Central location. • Quiet (best part). Surprisingly. Even with windows open (was a cool night, and room needed airing out), the outside noise did not prevent sleep, even being off El Camino Real. • Desk and add'l seating table in room, used both. • Good TV, and remote was uncomplicated and worked. • Phone in room, possible to dial '0' and get front desk. • No problem parking. • Did NOT charge me a cancellation fee for a June date I had booked and needed to cancel (and move to July) when my travel plans changed after the stated cancellation deadline. 👍

Everything but the sign, literally. I slept in my full day clothing on one of my personal beach towels. Burn holes in curtains, roach ran across nightstand, heat/ac unit poor, staff said we weren’t booked, charged me twice. I’m easy to please and not a germaphobe, so believe me, this was bad. In my top 5 of bad out of hundreds of places all over the country.

The hotel was pretty run down. But the most bizarre thing was when I arrived a homeless youth had passed out fast asleep in front of my door. This was something like three in the afternoon. It was kind of funny but sad at the same time. I kind of had to tell the front desk about it and I am happy that they were absolute jerks but did ask him to move. I couldn't even get my suitcase past him, LOL.

The location was absolutely fantastic for my needs. And it was easy to reach. The staff was really very friendly and the room was okay. Did have a few problems figuring out the heat but that was more my fault than anything else.

Paid for a booking and money transaction was completed. When I was checking in, they said they require me to be 21 years or older and would not refund the money back. I am 18 years old which is acceptable for most motels. Frustrated I called booking.com, talked to the owner lady, explained to her that she has to accept the refund request, while she kept insisting she will not do any sort of refund. TLDR; paid for two nights, im only 18, no refund, lost $212.

The smell to begin with was a huge factor. It says “No Smoking” yet I walked into the room with a strong odor of cigarettes. The walls were dirty and carpets filled with stains. I didn’t end up sleeping there. I decided to sleep in my car, it was the best decision I took. Even the sink didn’t work, it’s a waste of my money and I’ll never stay there again.

There was nothing I liked about this motel.

The A/c could have worked better especially since the wall furnace constantly put out low heat.

It was a good clean cheap room . It was not fancy at all. But there was nothing at all wrong with it either. I even booked the wrong dates and gad to change it at the last second and they accommodated me without any problem.

The people that work there are friendly and very non-judgmental. They run a good little s*** and they are kind to all people that are not scandalous. I like staying there because there's no deposit and the maid is top notch. The man that works keeping it clean keeps it clean and it has an ice machine that works. Good atmosphere good dollar value if you smoke smoke outside put this right outside your door is fine there's an ashtray close by. I might give it a 4.6 Stars. It's my kind of hotel

Front desk staff lazy and clueless. Room 40 - I had to kick the door to get it to open / opening it to leave was much HARDER. TV didn't work (& they gave me the remote with my key??) The phone had NO cables/plugs attached (unusable). Chair in the room was so gross and dirty. I read the reviews & thought I knew what I was in for - no one had stayed in rm 40. I couldn't get out of there fast enough.

Absolutely nothing redeemable except the price, but they should have paid me to stay there after the experience I had.
