We tried for several weeks to reach out to someone and couldn’t talk to anyone. After we found out that it was Orange Crush Festival weekend we wanted to change our dates. NO ONE would respond to me. We are senior citizens and wanted no part of this festival. We could not safely leave our room after 6pm because of the crowds that swarmed around the Carbo House and on the street. The roads were blocked off completely. This was not the weekend we had planned

The outside lights shine very brightly into the room at night which makes it difficult to sleep. It needs blackout curtains.

The parking for this apartment was not clearly located, and definitely need a larger trashcan for kitchen and would be helpful to have a mirror in the bathroom. Also the balcony lights were very bright at night which offers security but hard to sleep, maybe room darkening drapes. Walls are also very thin so movement by neighbors is easily heard if you are a light sleeper.

Very small, bed had sand, shower floor slanted, no sink in bathroom, door lock a hassle each time IN and OUT, TV ineffective, and little help from Staff when asking for help.

When i arrived There were a few damages...the cabnet door was unhinged and the bathroom knob came off...i called it in ....but i had to take the time away from my small vacation to call it in so I wouldnt be blamed for it.

The hot water went our on me in the middle of a shower. I messaged the company that handles the site. I received a reply that was not even personal to my location and then was told they were looking into the water and would contact me.. I messaged several hours later as I had not heard, and we arrived back to no hot water. I was again told to wait for a reply from the local people and never received any reply or follow up. Finally we had hot water. Wish we would have had better communication, but we had so much fun staying at carbo.

The property wasn’t ready for rent. My parents came for a vacation and noticed that electric stove didn’t work. Water was dripping from the ceiling. We contacted property manager to get an electric stove fixed and they did fix it… after 4 days of actively working in this listing. So when we were paying for full vacation experience, the workers were always around and in property. What kind of vacation is that? Why my parents had to spend their time in a room explaining what is broken? So be prepared that you’ll spend your vacation not on the beach, but in this property waiting for a handyman. And we didn’t even got any discount! Nothing! We paid the full price while 4 out of 7 booked days the workers were in the property fixing an electric stove!

ugly run down photos was photo shopped peeling paint ugly building no sink in bathroom bed right next to stove and fridge about size of closet noises all night just run down dump had to buy our own toilet paper just ruined our vacation what a rip off

Nothing to use as a blocker to keep pillows from falling between mattress and the wall at the head of bed. Yes it's a Murphy bed, but pillows get lost when sitting up watching TV. Lol

I loved everything about the room, I wouldn’t change a thing!

The room was extremely comfortable and homey. I felt safe since I did travel alone. I will definitely be booking the Carbo House again very soon!
