Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We are currently testing a weighted review system in Malta and Iceland (excluding hotel and vacation rental chains). For properties in these countries, the more recent the review, the bigger the impact on the total review score calculation. You can review an Accommodation that you booked through our Platform if you stayed there or if you arrived at the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, please contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.

CanadaOur room was beautifully appointed but very small. Ironically the bathroom was large in comparison and well stocked. We would have liked a couple of drawers to partially unpack for our 3 night stay. Each room is unique so we can’t speak to other rooms
The service was excellent. The staff friendly and knowledgeable. We loved the little restaurant - very good food even though the menu was limited. We found the meal pricing very fair Lovely location ( DuPont Circle). We walked through beautiful historic neighborhoods and always felt safe

Absolutely brilliant location, so many bars and restaurants etc. Metro and bus stops nearby. Lovely Art Deco style hotel, immaculate rooms. Nice cosy bar and restaurant.

United StatesIt would have been nice to have a mirror outside the bathroom, as one of us could use that mirror for make up or hair styling, while another was showering, etc. We also like use hanging toiletry bags, so a few more hooks in the bathroom would have been a plus. Everything was very comfortable and clean, so nothing to complain about.
We liked the top class service from all the staff - from the door person, to the front desk to the housekeeping staff. The restaurant was very convenient and offered a nice variety of menu choices. We ate there twice for breakfast and twice for dinner. I loved the hooks near the door as you exit the room, it proved very HANDY for coats and sweaters. Last but not least, the location was great. We took the metro or the bus everywhere...no need for a car!

The front desk workers were phenomenal. Very professional and accommodating. The room sizes are excellent. And the amenities are of great value. Location of the hotel was perfect. Short distance from Howard University (visiting for graduation) and just a walk to downtown DC to site see.

United StatesCheck in was too long after our flight back from Morocco late evening because of chit chatting between single staff and some family speaking a strange tongue! Not one of the five I speak either. There were several in line ahead of us all waiting. Need to staff up for check in and discourage this.
The rooms were comfortable, location was outstanding, very restful neighborhood with flowers and good access to restaurants within walking distance for meals. The Central American lunch crew in hotel restaurant was very kind and memorable!
