Although your property has a nice location in the woods and cabins have nice layout we are very disappointed in our stay. Cabin was very FILTHY - carpets are all stained all over and are dusty, hardwood floors are not mopped and are covered in dirt, lots of trash ( bottles, cereal, paper) underneath the armchair, stove and sofa. The cushion of the armchair was so dirty and stained we had to take it off to be able to seat. The sofa's upholstery was greasy and smelled, had to cover with a blanket to seat on it. Spiderwebs EVERYWHERE - bedroom upstairs and downstairs. There were no extra blankets and the existing THIN blankets were dirty. I wish I would have extra clean blankets with me for kids. The propane heater never worked properly even after replacement of propane tank, we had strong smell of fumes , so we couldn't have it on. Had to get by with the stove in the living area and electric heater for the bedroom. Very very disappointed considering what we payed for our 5 nights stay. This is a nice property, but needs some upkeep, cleaning and better maintenance. Will not be coming back and will not recommend this place to anybody. I am going to leave a negative review on Google and Booking.com as well.

Not clean enough. Ants all over the counter and floors. Dog hair on couches. Lights in the living room not working. Lamp not working in the living room either. No bathroom screen. TV upstairs not working. Unable to close the blinds from dining no privacy. How to go purchase Ziploc bags to store my food we did not cook there ended up eating out every day. Definitely would not recommend my cabin was number was #5 it was horrible.

First of all note that, although Resort makes it sound fancy, this is more like a trailer park with 12 manufacured homes placed next to each other around a semi circular driveway. The Resort notion is misleading. The cabin we were proposed initially had had extensive water damage in the past which we could see from traces on the cedar walls and the floor being uneven, and since my wife is sensitive to mold we asked to change units. The second unit we were proposed had the same type of water damage issue, coupled with animal urine smell. The 3rd unit that we were proposed (unit #10) did not seem to have any water damage/mold issue and this is why we decided to stay there, but we hesitated due to the reasons explained below, even if this meant losing the reservation money. Although the unit we had is cute, it was poorly cleaned and maintained. The unit was dirty, the floors were disgusting (I have added a picture taken at arrival of some of the dirt we collected by lightly cleaning the floor), and the unit did not have cleaning products either (you will need to buy those). And there were only 2 rolls of toilet paper (you will need to buy those as well). You cannot charge such a cleaning fee for a job that is clearly not done. The unit has a small kitchen and a fridge, which is convenient, but you’d better bring your own kitchenware (specially pans, because the ones they have are filthy and scratched). The outside of the unit is dusty dirt, which is not a problem on itself, but explains why the floor in the unit is so dirty (dirt piles easily if you do not clean it). Outside we picked up all of our dog’s poop, but also many from previous renters, as well as garbage and many cigarette buts. All this should have been cleaned prior to our arrival. The home in the adjacent property (outside of the “resort”) is located very close from the bedroom and the fence that separates both lots does not shield from the strong light they leave on all night long.

The unit is a cute 400sqft manufactured home (1 bedroom 1 badroom and an open kitchen), with a low ceiling mezzanine which adds more space to the unit (but an adult cannot stand up there). The unit we stayed at is a more recent model with drywall instead of cedar on the walls, which we liked. No A/C but many windows, so we could leave them open at night (except the ones in the besroom, see below) to get some air in and not suffer much from heat. They accept dogs, which is one of the reasons we rented this place, and is well located: we biked with a dog carriage to the beach every day. Parking is very convenient.

The cabin was not very clean and for being charged an extra $100 for cleaning, one would assume that it would be clean. I did not want to sit on the couch. Also, you get charged an extra fee for a dog. This would have been very good to know before hand. I paid at least $250 more than I expected to pay. So be aware of the extra charges. Also, the WiFi is unreliable.

My family and I had a great time staying at Cedar Pines. The rustic feel of the cabin made it feel as though we were camping. The location is close to shopping and the beach. Bike rentals are close as well.

They provide all the cooling utilities and tools for you to cook and stay for a while. They have everything we needed for traveling such as hair dryer, iron, towels, heater, umbrella, etc Def recommended

the only thing it was concerned to me and my family it’s that the chimney had a low smell to gas and it was tolerable but with the heaters on we were a little concerned, overall it was great
