Hard / flat pillows, strong smell of room spray in room (got better after we opened things up), hard to block exterior light out of one of the windows with the blinds (other big window had decent curtains).

Comfortable beds, lack of carpet so clean floors, looked / felt renovated, 3 sinks in room (double queen room), few min drive from downtown Ashland, very spacious room, breakfast was fine given room price. Room had a kitchen with 2 burners and sink that we didn't use but would've if we stayed longer!

The bathroom door did not close properly and was in terrible condition. "Free" breakfasts are never very good at motels, but this one was especially lame. The coffee was undrinkable.

Bed was good and the room was clean. It was quiet.

    See above

There were a few minor conveniences lacking. 2nd bar of soap, 1 for the shower 1 for the sink. Only 1 waist bascket in the entire room. The main light was at the Bedside table and nothing conected the the light switch when you walked in. Over a pleasant stay, clean, and no serious issues.

The breakfast was included with our stay, but we were unfortunately disappointed by it. It didn't have much variety, just a lot of sugary carbs - cereal, bagels, muffins, a waffle machine.... Not a lot to choose from if you preferred savory options (eggs, sausage, etc.) or healthy options (yogurt, fruits other than just an apple, etc.).

Despite the many rooms, we really felt secure during our stay - there were lots of cameras and lights. We absolutely loved the indoor spa and could imagine coming here in the winter. The staff was also super friendly.

Access to pools was difficult for us older folks. Very large step down into outdoor pool due to added prefab deck. Indoor spa pool had only side of pool ladder access.

The building is obviously well loved and maintained, but it’s showing it age in uneven floors and steps as it has settled over time. If you have mobility or balance issues, this may be an issue.

The location is convenient to getting downtown, the pool is a nice option, the building is well maintained for its age, and the staff was friendly and helpful.

I went down for the Shakespeare Festival. It's a two mile walk into the theaters, and every day in at least one direction, it was over 100 degrees. If you don't have a car, you'll want to be closer to downtown

The room is fine, large and clean

only 2 outlets worked, toilet was not sturdy and moved when sat on, room was being remodeled by people that didn't know what they were doing. pillows to thin. towels to rough. Checked in, was told we were on bottom floor, no map where and had to get out 2 times and walk around building to find room

Liked the price for the size of the room
