We liked everything about our stay. The staff was great, the location was great and the breakfast was very good.

Room doors could be solid to help with soundproofing.

Room was beautifully appointed and decorated, bed comfortable. The rooms are not sound proofed, although it was only an issue when we could hear other guests in the hallway. Floorboards uneven, which I guess is part of the historic charm! Weekend breakfast was adequate, hot options limited to scrambled egg, sausage, bacon and waffle maker.

We had a great stay here. There was a mix up with our room and the lady that ran the front desk was very apologetic and even gave us free meal coupons for the pub. This place is so cute. It has a historical/castle vibe going on. I love the small business vibe. We met the owner and she was great. The breakfast was also really good. I'd give it a 10/10 and would highly recommend.

Street noise was noticeable but I don’t know how that can be avoided

The architecture of the facility was amazing. Our room was large and the beds were comfortable. Refurbished with charm. We ate at the pub next door and the staff were friendly. Pizza was super! I would definitely stay here again instead of cookie cutter hotel accommodations .

The room we were in had a 4 post bed which was really nice but completely blocked the view of the TV which was a little odd. There is no online menu for the pub downstairs so I ended up not eating there because I didn't know what they offered.

Perfect location for the boardwalk and the UFC event we attended. Free parking and free breakfast were great the room was nice and clean. Got to check in a little bit early which was also a huge plus.

The room was overly warm with no way to cool off except opening the windows (in February) it did help a bit. Being able to climb stairs is a must at this property

I loved the charm of this 1880s bed and breakfast. The room was lovely and comfortable. The entire property is charming, like stepping back in time, but the amenities/bathrooms are nicely updated

Read the description on the site regarding the space. There is no elevator nor does the space appear to be ADA accessible. The entry steps are steep. Something that can’t always be controlled are folks who stop on the entry steps. Also the patrons of the pub linger outside the pub to smoke.

This was a bed and breakfast experience. I chose not to experience the breakfast. Overall the stay was nice. I had a single queen bed room with bathroom. The space was nicely decorated and clean. This is a nice space if you want to steer away from the casino/ resort/ hotel. The property appears to have good video surveillance on the exterior which is nice. Parking for one vehicle comes with the room stay. I had limited to no interaction with the staff but when I did it was pleasant.

Just charming...not one bad thing to say. A real relief from the casino hotel i was at previously.Quiet calm relaxing and no hidden extra charges. Just great!

Our room was pleasant and spacious, but it faced the neighboring parking lot which is illuminated with "klieg" lights. These are so bright, obviously a crime deterent, but it is difficult to totally block the light coming into this room at night. There are some heavy curtains which sort of work but they don't reach corner to corner.

Breakfast was ok. There was yogurt, fresh fruit, sliced bread, bagels (toaster available). There is a choice of dry cereals, teas, hot chocolate, etc. and the milk was in a fridge. Scrambled eggs were already made and in the self-serve warmed tray. Coffee was decent. It is a self serve set up and there is no interaction with staff. The breakfast room is lovely and light; it is possible to sit outside on a covered deck in mild weather. i liked the eclectic decor of the inn. Beds were comfortable and the place was quiet.

Nothing healthy for vegetarians nor vegans....just the poor Standard American Diet...bummer! Closet had no lighting....bulbs needed replacing, but they could not fix it...bummer!
