We stayed in room 12 which has a private bathroom located in the main hallway, and not located inside the actual bedroom. We were aware of this when making the booking, but of course it would have been nicer if we had an integral bathroom inside the room - needless to say it would not stop us from staying at Cherokee Lodge again. Only other thing we found was that it can get rather noisy when other guests are arriving at the property at night time (floorboards creak, doors are loud etc), again we were expecting this as it is such an old property, but at one point we thought there might have been a ghost roaming the house, although this was not a dealbreaker and we would still stay again, happily.

PERFECT LOCATION! Could not have had a better location to Orange Avenue or the beach even if we tried. The on-street parking was no issues we were always within 30 seconds of the property. BREAKFAST WAS GOOD! We were usually up by around 9:30am to grab some breakfast and there was a lot of choice avaliable.

Shower water went very hot and very cold on me. Walls are very thin, you could hear neighbours conversations.

Large bedroom with a large comfortable bed. Good breakfast selection and plenty of food which we could eat throughout the day. Lovely quiet neighbourhood which felt very safe. Very close to shops, restaurants, pubs, and the beach. Charming front garden with rocking chairs on the porch.

The bed was comfortable, but had a terrible squeak when you got in and out of bed. Furniture a little shop worn, but was meant to be antique. Seemed like very early to cut off check in at 3:00 p.m. but the process they had me use, worked out well.

Location was great. What little contact we had with staff was very pleasant. Bathroom looked great and was very clean.

Arrival was frustrating. We arrived about 4:30pm. We couldn't get in building and no one answered the phone. Finally, another guest let us in. However, later when I was able to get into my email, I found a staff person had sent me an email with the code to get in. So, that makes me happy. I just wish the message had been a text or phone call.

Nothing. Literally loved everything. However, some of the rooms are upstairs so that might be challenging for some people with mobility issues.

Everything!!! The staff was amazing and super helpful. The location was perfect! The bed/room was comfy and the breakfast was delicious. Also, loved the rockers on the front porch!! Sat out there with my morning cup of coffee and soaked up the sun!!

The breakfast was not quite what I expected (mostly packaged pastries but they did have hard boiled eggs and yogurt plus an interesting-looking pancake machine).

Excellent location on a quiet street that is walkable to everything! The room was cozy and well decorated with a strong, hot shower. Everything was very clean and set up nicely.

This location is perfect! We didn't rent a car. Many restaurants were within walking distance! The Beach is also about a 7 min walk!! We ubered everywhere for a total of $220 for a week! The Hop on Hop off Old Town trolley took us all over town one day! You can Hop on right here in Coronado!!

The bedroom that we stayed in was small. The photo looked larger but maybe I should have paid attention to the square footage.

The lodge was clean, the location was perfect for walking around, parking was convenient, and the staff were so accommodating.
