Original, high-tech and sophisticated design. Although the rooms were small, but everything else a visitor need was there. The staff were very friendly, and the check-in was so simple. Amazing experience and would highly recommend.

The room is great for one person but for 2 can be a bit small. The toilet/shower is in the middle of the room, so expect complete sound transparency. Otherwise, the hotel is awesome.

Completely controlled light in the room (via iPad), controlled alarm, and several sound modes for relaxation. Basically, everything is digitally controlled, which is very handy as the room is quite small. The space is used quite smartly, though, and the only problem is where to put a large suitcase. All the rest goes to multiple storages. The guest area on the ground floor is superb - very cosy, comfortable and nice-looking. A reasonably priced bar is also presented. I really liked the vibe of this hotel.

I have no complaints other than the addition of an ice and water machine would be nice on a few of the floors. you have to go down to the lobby and get ice water from the hotels bar restaurant.

very modern and clean space. I’ve never stayed at a hotel quite like this one. it has an upscale feel at a good price. the location of the hotel was great for exploring the dtla area. I also liked the fact that they had security at the door 24/7. it made me feel very safe and comfortable there.

Rooms are well-designed, but also very tiny by design. Generally, the smart layout makes up for it, but there's no getting around the petite space. Additionally, I'm a fan of DTLA and the Historic District, but it has a very rough edge and is not for the faint of heart. Women and families with kids might not be comfortable in the neighbourhood. Again, personally, I love the area and the excellent connectivity on transit.

A very well-designed and run hotel surrounded by public transport. The breakfast is pricey - but actually impressive and worth the ask. Congenial staff and the personalisation options on rooms are a nice touch.

Staff was pretty loud and entertained each others more than guests... It would be nice to eat breakfast in a quiet atmosphere than listen a loud staff :( Too much staff working... they had time to chat, to drink coffee etc..

The location was a bit scary for a tourist from another country—many strange people were on the streets. I couldn't walk to the Hotel's nearest location. The hotel doesn't have dedicated parking, and the nearest parking was too expensive, at least for me.

Inside the hotel, it was a very calm environment with friendly staff. The lobby was very comfortable, and the cappuccino was so tasty. I will visit there again.

They have a real issue with guests smoking weed. Our floor stinks of it on many times over 7 days. I think the hotel group needs to get on top of that issue as its not the first time in this hotel or Chicago. Our room was not in great shape, our blinds broken, shower arm not holding fitting. I have to say they could be faster serving at the bar for drinks but thats it.

Stayed many times in this hotel, its very well postioned to jump in a Uber or park for cheap money. They gym is great, brilliant views. Now they have door security ... even better. I would recomend it.

Food was just okay, for $20/day there should be more variety. The rooms are very small like the pictures, just big enough for the 2 of us. It was fine because we didn’t spend that much time in the room.

I had my do not disturb sign on the door, and was woken up to an aggressive loud knock at 9am. 2 hrs before check out. To a cleaner helping herself in regardless of the sign on the door. It felt so disrespectful and ruined a well needed lay in

Would have been good to have daily updates on possible events and specials. Stayed over Christmas period so would have been good to have some decorations and a special on meals/ other selections that day . Would have been good to have a map on iPad to show some of the locations to visit in addition to what is there ie Burlingtons, Ross Dress for Less, Macy’s, Grand Central Markets etc

My only complaint is with the cleaning, not that it was terrible but it would be nice after being out all day to already come back to new sheets, towels, etc instead of having to schedule it.

I loved the modern and bright colors, the decor and the modern features in the room really elevated the hotel and made me feel more comfortable as opposed to the boring standard colored rooms and fixtures of other hotels.

Its proximity to everything downtown, it’s so central and is no more than a block away from either metro station to Hollywood or Santa Monica. Definitely ideal for couples visiting LA

The rooms could be a bit bigger.. but maybe that's for a different hotel. I could also always use a coffee machine in the room. I felt that that was a crucial amenity that was missing.

A very fun stay in a very modern hotel absolutely targeted towards millennials :) This hotel is clean, modern and technology first, with a lot of great spaces in the lobby and bar areas. If you're looking for large, spacious old school hotels this isn't the place. But if you're looking for a cool, tech-forward stay with great amenities this is it.

Although the room was rather small, I really enjoyed it. I was a bit scared if the rooms in the pictures are real, because they all looked they same, but this was exactly what my room looked like. It felt very luxurious. Breakfast was good 7/10
