Definitely needs updating in pool and equipment area and surrounding outside property. I know it was closing day but it certainly felt like we were an inconvenience.

we got there late our first night one of our rooms (suite) heat source did not work., only blew cold air. was an extremely cold windy October night. Finally fell asleep and the smoke detector started beeping with low battery. husband just removed it from ceiling. reported next morning on our way out and upon our return all was fixed. Very bad first night but second night was much better.

rooms were pretty clean. Beds were comfy. breakfast was okay. Was a fun walk to the Ferry.

Hotel is dated and worn looking, sheets bedding alright, carpet and walls need updating along with the bathrooms have tired plumbing. Also attention to details of cleaning corners, around beds better and behind furniture and tv's. A lot of dust there. The furnace/air conditioner was caked in dust. Smells of heated dust were present.

Local good. Friendly staff, free breakfast nice but limited. Secured. Good internet. Hot water great. Rooms were supplied good with shampoos etc.

The heat was turned off in the dining room, everyone had on coats...it was heavy rain and 40 degrees outside

Hotel was nice, needs a little updating but not too bad. Breakfast was displayed nicely but only a pancake and piece of ham for hot breakfast, also served oj and coffee, yogurt, cinnamon bread and boiled eggs.

The view was good because I could see a nice bridge.Also, the staff was friendly.

Breakfast was not at all what was pictured, the beds did not have comforters. Could not get into the closet and had a missing handle. The HVAC unit with the double beds is not attached.

I liked having the adjoining rooms.

Room door and bathroom door were almost impossible to open and close(huge fire hazard), needs updating desperately, staff not friendly, breakfast was gross, beach is dirty and not taken care of.

The location is the only positive about this hotel....needs some desperate updating!

No parking. After a long day and a torn acl I could t park anywhere near my room, even with the handicap sticker I had.

Wierd thing: there was no COLD water! If you wanted to rinse your mouth after brushing teeth or just have a drink of cold water the best you could get was lukewarm water. Also, if you flush the toilet 2 or 3 times in a row (so the toilet would not get plugged up)... the water was HOT in the bowl. STRANGE!!! The air conditioning didn"t work very well. It was set to come on automatically, but didn't come back on. It got hot during the night. Got up a couple of times during the night to turn the temperature down. We were excited to have a couch and 2 arm chairs, but none of them faced the tv. The tv was in an armoire across from the beds. We brought our lawn chairs up and set them between the beds to watch tv. The tv itself didn't work too well. The first night the only channel that came in was the weather channel. Next day after fiddling around with it we finally got some different channels. The beds were comfortable enough, but the sheets kept coming off. The bottom sheet was not fitted and the mattress pad kept coming off too. We remade the beds every day! We did have a small closet with a bi-fold door which we could barely open. The track that it was supposed to slide on needed to be lubed and the one small handle it had was loose and about to fall off. My husband did go to the breakfast buffet (which had the same food everyday) and the food was cold! The pop machine and ice machine were definitely not convenient and there was not an elevator to bring up the luggage either!

Room was large with 2 queen size beds, had a couch and 2 arm chairs. Had a nice balcony facing the beach and lake.. The sunrise was bright and beautiful. The beach had lounge chairs provided for the guests.

I noticed a big spider webb with a spider in the middle right by the light fixture next to the entry door as we were trying to open the door.

Towels were rough, the front desk woman was rude. We didn't realize that the rooms were located elsewhere. Breakfast stopped at 9 instead of 10 like every other place.

The rooms are dated with peeling wallpaper. The carpet looks original with tons of stains. Most likely would not stay there again.

The entire facility is clearly in need of remodel. Our room was cramped, carpet ripped, screen door broken and generally run down. Breakfast buffer was served from 7 to 9 am. Toasters didn’t work. None of the exercise equipment was working. The washer and dryer were both broken.

Staff was wonderful. Sadly they have to deal with a very dated and poorly maintained property. Clearly trying their best. The hotel is within an easy walk to the Island Ferry.

Cleanliness of certain areas was needed, carpets were extremely dirty on stairs and in the rooms. Needs to be updated in most areas.

No elevator and breakfast on 2 nd floor. Refrig froze our soda which exploded during night and then we cleaned up. HORRIBLE internet service. Goes in and out every minute!!!
