This was supposed to a non smoking hotel but the smell of Skunk weed was absolutely overtaking the entire place. I guess I sort of felt like I was in a Cheech and Chong movie.

As soon as you walk in the lobby, it smells like cigarettes, fresh smoke, and fabuloso. When checking into the hotel, my girlfriend was able to get a key without showing any form of ID and without me present. No verification at all, so i believe anyone who knew my name could just walk in and take our reservation. When we opened our first room, I checked things to make sure It was safe for my girlfriend and I to stay in the room. It was not, first the room smelled like smoke, in a non smoking hotel. Second and most importantly, the security latch was broken off and what looked like was repaired at least a time or two with a few extra screws. We went back to front desk and asked for a different room because of the security latch. The employee at the front desk said alot of them are like that and proceeded to assign us another room. Literally the same as the first, the second room smelled of smoke and the security latch was broken off and attempted to be repaired several times. We went back to the desk and received a new room key this time for a room on the second floor. This one smelled less of smoke, but still smelled. The security latch was intact on this room but the door was really wiggly. Sketchy characters are up late into the night arguing in the hallway or outside and our fridge kept making a popping sound throughout the night, waking both my girlfriend and myself up several times. There is also an annoying automatic motion sensing light that turns on everytime you walk in the entry room. Checkout was easy but the coffee offered in the lobby must have had no filter as I got a mouthful of coffee grounds, not pleasant.

The staff were pretty understanding of us switching rooms due to lack of security on the door to the hotel rooms.

It would have been nice to have breakfast. This is based on my room only but there were several broken items in my room. The latch on the door was gone. To feel safe, I put a chair against the door. The entire showed head, handle and spout in the shower moved when turning on the water. I was afraid it would fall apart. A large gross stain was on the rug by the bed. I didn’t feel good comfortable walking around the room with bare feet so I wore flip flops. The air conditioner clunked extremely loud when set at 70. I felt it was going to blowup it was so loud. I guess the ole say, “ you get what you pay for”, fit here. Based on this experience,

First room we got room 150 smelled like cigarettes. Next room 160 smelled better but there was a serious problem with the window. The window was all crooked and did not close properly so there was a big gap through which cold air and highway noise would come in. Room 166 smelled really musty. Only stay if nothing else is available.

The two gentlemen at the front desk were quiet nice and accommodating. Hotel is really close to highway and have restaurants around.

Did not feel safe. There were 3 police cars while checking in. Went out to dinner and my husband witness someone on flashlight checking other cars. He reported to staff. Woke up at 2 a.m. with flashing red lights from ambulance and police cars on parking lot.
