The property is absolutely amazing! House is beyond describing, views stunning. Wonderful mix of eclectic period pieces that are arranged for premium composition and comfort, outdoor spaces inviting and beautiful. Around every corner was a new discovery. Absolutely wonderful in every way!

Can't think of anything, except that Google maps gives you the wrong road names and makes it hard to find, lol.

Beautiful location in the hills above Coeur d'Alene. The whole house is decorated in a mediaeval theme, which is lovely but not overdone. There are many spaces indoors and out to rest, read, write, and even musical instruments available. There's a small kitchen in the basement if you want to make yourself a snack, and the breakfast was fabulous.

The listing is very clear about this, but do keep in mind that the rooms share a bathroom/shower.

We had an absolutely spectacular stay! The bed and breakfast is a delightful, quirky mixture of antiques and eclectic artwork by one of the owners. The housekeeper Tonya makes a fabulous breakfast and is extremely helpful if you have any questions. The location is tranquil - we loved sitting on one of the patios and listening to birds sing in the woods while taking in the views of the lake. We'll happily stay again if we're ever in town.

Everything! From the beginning of the scenic drive up the winding road to the moment you must regretfully leave this hidden gem. I have never been so entranced not only by the location but the care, detail and love put into this home. 10/10 would run away again to this wonderland.

Tonya was a warm, genuine, kind and inviting host. The breakfast she prepared was delicious, and beautiful in its presentation. The interior design of the house, and its furnishings were reminiscent of a European castle and aesthetically pleasing. It was such a joy and surprise to find this gem and the price/value was amazing. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a unique and inviting retreat; you'll delight in the super bonus of a scrumptious breakfast. Thank you Tonya for your kind hospitality!

I feel like I had a privilege to stay at Coeur De Lion. What a beautiful home! What a amazing experience.. it was my first time trying bed and breakfast and honestly I highly doubt I will ever get similar experience once again. They did amazing 10/10 spotless place, calm and quiet, friendly people, delicious breakfast, comfortable bed and supplies on point!!!! I wish I had more time at the house to better look all the decorations! Great deal! I will be back 💖

We thought sharing a bathroom would be awful, but other than the trek down the hall in the middle of the night, it did NOT detract from the experience.

What's not to like?! From the beautiful drive to the stunning first impression of the statuesque estate. We wandered happily mesmerized by the art, decor, and loving details put into this home. Also, Tanya, the grounds keeper, was SO friendly, cared for the guests and the home as if it were her own, and what amazing breakfasts! They were tasty works of art! Relaxing, enjoyable, and a better price than we could get a plain hotel room for.

ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!

I have been traveling the world for 50+ years. There are many many good places,. A few great places, 2 WOWS, this without a doubt was the most amazing WOW, I've had. Dave and Sandy and staff were nothing less than EXCEPTIONAL. Michelin does not have a high enough rating for the breakfast.
